Description
図1は、車両10のフロント側に使用されるストラット形懸架装置11を示している。図2は、この懸架装置11の断面図である。懸架装置11は、コイルばね(圧縮コイルばね)12と、コイルばね12の下端側に配置された下側のばね座13と、コイルばね12の上端側に配置された上側のばね座14と、ショックアブソーバ15と、マウントインシュレータ16などを備えている。コイルばね12の中心軸X1(図2に示す)は、鉛直線X0に対して角度θ1をなして上下方向に延びている。
図5は、車両10のリヤ側に設けられたニーアクションタイプの一例であるトレーリングアーム式の左右一対の懸架装置100を示している。左右一対の懸架装置100は互いに同等の構成であるため、これ以降は一方の懸架装置100を代表して説明する。
Claims (5)
- ばね鋼からなる素線を螺旋形に成形してなり、懸架装置の下側のばね座と上側のばね座との間に圧縮された状態で配置され、荷重に応じて所定の撓み量の範囲で伸縮する懸架装置用コイルばねであって、
前記下側のばね座によって支持される下側の座巻部と、前記上側のばね座によって支持される上側の座巻部と、これら座巻部間に形成された有効部とを有し、
前記下側の座巻部が、
荷重の大きさにかかわらず常に前記下側のばね座に接する第1の部分と、
荷重に応じて前記下側のばね座に接しまたは離れ、前記第1の部分の線径および前記有効部の平均線径よりも線径が大きい第2の部分と、
を具備したことを特徴とする懸架装置用コイルばね。 - 前記上側の座巻部が、
荷重の大きさにかかわらず常に前記上側のばね座に接する第3の部分と、
荷重に応じて前記上側のばね座に接しまたは離れ、前記第3の部分の線径および前記有効部の平均線径よりも線径が大きい第4の部分と、
を具備したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の懸架装置用コイルばね。 - 前記第2の部分の線径が、前記第4の部分の線径よりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の懸架装置用コイルばね。
- 前記第2の部分と前記有効部との間に素線径が連続的に変化する線径変化部を有し、
前記第4の部分と前記有効部との間に素線径が連続的に変化する線径変化部を有したことを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載の懸架装置用コイルばね。 - 前記有効部が、前記素線の長さ方向に線径が変化する大径素線部と小径素線部とを含むことを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の懸架装置用コイルばね。
