Description
図1に示す MacPherson Strut type の懸架装置1は、懸架用コイルばね2(これ以降、単にコイルばね2と称す)と、ショックアブソーバからなるストラット3とを備えている。コイルばね2は、螺旋形に成形されたばね鋼からなる素線4を有している。コイルばね2は、下側のばね座10と上側のばね座11との間で圧縮された状態で、懸架装置1に取付けられている。ストラット3の上端は、マウントインシュレータ12を介して車体13に取付けられている。ストラット3の下部にブラケット15が設けられている。ブラケット15には、車軸を支持するためのナックル部材16(一部のみ示す)が取付けられている。ストラット3は、重力の鉛直線XLに対し、上端側が車両内側に角度θ1だけ軸線X0が傾いた状態で車体13に取付けられている。
Claims (3)
- 下側のばね座(10)と、上側のばね座(11)と、螺旋形に成形された素線(4)からなり前記下側のばね座(10)と前記上側のばね座(11)との間に圧縮した状態で配置されたコイルばね(2)とを備え、前記下側のばね座(10)と前記上側のばね座(11)とが互いに平行でないストラットタイプの懸架装置であって、
前記コイルばね(2)が、
前記下側のばね座(10)に接する下側の座巻部(20)と、
前記上側のばね座(11)に接する上側の座巻部(21)と、
前記下側の座巻部(20)と前記上側の座巻部(21)との間の有効部(22)と、
前記有効部(22)を圧縮する力が前記下側の座巻部(20)と前記上側の座巻部(21)とに負荷された状態において、前記下側の座巻部(20)に加わる力の重心(C1)と前記上側の座巻部(21)に加わる力の重心(C2)とを結ぶ直線からなる荷重軸(FL)とを有し、
前記荷重軸(FL)が前記下側のばね座(10)と前記上側のばね座(11)とに対し角度(θ3)をなして傾き、
前記有効部(22)は、圧縮されていない自由形状において該有効部(22)の軸まわりに円筒形でかつピッチが一定であり、
前記下側のばね座(10)と前記上側のばね座(11)との間で指定高さまで圧縮された圧縮形状では、前記荷重軸(FL)をZ軸とする座標系に関し、前記Z軸方向にピッチが一定でかつコイル径が実質的に一定の円筒形をなしている懸架装置。 - 請求項1に記載の懸架装置において、
前記コイルばね(2)の前記荷重軸(FL)と前記下側のばね座(10)の中心との差、および前記荷重軸(FL)と前記上側のばね座(11)の中心との差に応じて、前記下側の座巻部(20)と前記上側の座巻部(21)とをコイル中心から偏心させ、かつ、前記指定高さにおける前記下側の座巻部(20)と上側の座巻部(21)の傾きを、それぞれ、前記下側のばね座(10)と上側のばね座(11)の傾きに対応させた懸架装置。 - 請求項1に記載の懸架装置において、
前記コイルばね(2)の前記圧縮形状の前記有効部(22)のコイル径が、前記自由形状の前記有効部(22)のコイル径と比較して、前記荷重軸(FL)まわりの全周にわたり同等に拡大する懸架装置。
