Description
図1に示す MacPherson Strut type の懸架装置1は、車両懸架用コイルばね2(これ以降、単にコイルばね2と称す)と、ショックアブソーバからなるストラット3とを備えている。コイルばね2は、螺旋形に成形されたばね鋼からなる素線4を有している。コイルばね2は、下側のばね座10と上側のばね座11との間で圧縮された状態で、懸架装置1に取付けられている。ストラット3の上端は、マウントインシュレータ12を介して車体13に取付けられている。ストラット3の下部にブラケット15が設けられている。ブラケット15には、車軸を支持するためのナックル部材16(一部のみ示す)が取付けられている。ストラット3は、重力の鉛直線XLに対し、上端側が車両内側に角度θ1だけ軸線X0が傾いた状態で車体13に取付けられている。コイルばね2は、下側のばね座10と上側のばね座11との間で圧縮されている。下側のばね座10は、上側のばね座11に対してストラット3の軸線X0方向に相対的に移動することができる。
Claims (5)
- 下側のばね座(10)と、上側のばね座(11)と、螺旋形に成形された素線(4)からなり前記下側のばね座(10)と上側のばね座(11)との間に圧縮した状態で配置されたコイルばねとを備えた懸架装置であって、
前記コイルばねが、
前記下側のばね座(10)に接する下側の座巻部(20)(20’)と、
前記上側のばね座(11)に接する上側の座巻部(21)(21’)と、
前記下側の座巻部(20)(20’)と前記上側の座巻部(21)(21’)との間の円筒形の有効部(22)(22’)と、
前記有効部(22)(22’)を圧縮する力が前記下側の座巻部(20)(20’)と前記上側の座巻部(21)(21’)とに負荷された状態において前記下側の座巻部(20)(20’)に加わる力の重心(C1)と前記上側の座巻部(21)(21’)に加わる力の重心(C2)とを結ぶ直線からなり下端が上端よりも車両外側に位置する荷重軸(FL)と、
前記下側の座巻部(20)(20’)の長さ方向の途中の厚さ変化部(25a)(25a’)から前記素線(4)の下端側の先端(4X)に向かって、第1のテイパー長さ(TL1)にわたり前記素線(4)の厚さが第1のテイパー厚み(T1)まで減少し、前記厚さ変化部(25a)(25a’)が前記荷重軸(FL)よりも車両外側に配置され、前記第1のテイパー厚み(T1)の前記先端(4X)が前記荷重軸(FL)の下端よりも車両内側に延びたテイパー部(25)(25’)とを具備し、前記荷重軸(FL)の下端が前記第1のテイパー厚み(T1)に応じて前記荷重軸(FL)の上端よりも車両外側に位置した懸架装置。 - 請求項1に記載の懸架装置において、
前記テイパー部(25)(25’)がフラットテイパー形のテイパー部である懸架装置。 - 請求項1に記載の懸架装置において、
前記テイパー部(25)(25’)がラウンドテイパー形のテイパー部である懸架装置。 - 請求項1に記載の懸架装置において、
前記テイパー部(25)(25’)が座面研磨形のテイパー部である懸架装置。 - 請求項1に記載の懸架装置において、
熱間成形された円筒形の前記有効部(22)(22’)を有している懸架装置。
