Abstract
Description
図1は、実施例1における角形二次電池の外観斜視図、図2は、実施例1における角形二次電池の分解斜視図である。
角形二次電池100は、扁平状の捲回群3を不図示の電解液と共に電池容器に封入した構造を有している。電池容器は、電池缶1および電池蓋6を備えている。電池缶1は、相対的に面積の大きい一対の対向する幅広側面1bと相対的に面積の小さい一対の対向する幅狭側面1cと底面1dを有しており、上部は開口部1aによって開放されている。
捲回群3は、負極電極32と正極電極34を間にセパレータ33、35を挟み込んで扁平状に捲回することによって構成されている。捲回群3は、最外周の電極が負極電極32であり、さらにその外側にセパレータ33、35が捲回される。セパレータ33、35は、正極電極34と負極電極32との間を絶縁する役割を有している。

Claims (5)
- 正極電極と負極電極を間にセパレータを介して捲回した扁平状の捲回群と、該捲回群を収容する電池缶と、該電池缶を封止する電池蓋と、該電池蓋に設けられた正極集電板及び負極集電板と、を有する角形二次電池であって、
前記捲回群は、捲回軸方向一方側の端面に予め設定された一対の対角領域に複数の正極集電タブと複数の負極集電タブとが分かれて配置されて前記正極集電板及び前記負極集電板にそれぞれ接合されることによって前記電池蓋に支持されていることを特徴とする角形二次電池。 - 前記正極集電板と前記負極集電板は、前記電池蓋から電池缶内に突出して前記複数の正極集電タブ及び前記複数の負極集電タブにそれぞれ接合される接合端部を有しており、
前記正極集電板の接合端部が前記複数の正極集電タブに対して前記捲回群の厚さ方向外側に対向しかつ、前記負極集電板の接合端部が前記複数の負極集電タブに対して前記捲回群の厚さ方向内側に対向して配置され、または、
前記正極集電板の接合端部が前記複数の正極集電タブに対して前記捲回群の厚さ方向内側に対向しかつ、前記負極集電板の接合端部が前記複数の負極集電タブに対して前記捲回群の厚さ方向外側に対向して配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の角形二次電池。 - 前記正極集電板と前記負極集電板は、前記電池蓋から電池缶内に突出して前記複数の正極集電タブ及び前記複数の負極集電タブにそれぞれ接合される接合端部を有しており、
前記正極集電板の接合端部が前記複数の正極集電タブに対して前記捲回群の厚さ方向外側に対向しかつ、前記負極集電板の接合端部が前記複数の負極集電タブに対して前記捲回群の厚さ方向外側に対向して配置され、または、
前記正極集電板の接合端部が前記複数の正極集電タブに対して前記捲回群の厚さ方向内側に対向しかつ、前記負極集電板の接合端部が前記複数の負極集電タブに対して前記捲回群の厚さ方向内側に対向して配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の角形二次電池。 - 前記複数の正極集電タブは、該複数の正極集電タブの厚さ方向中央に寄せて束ねられ前記正極集電板の接合端部に接合され、
前記複数の負極集電タブは、該複数の負極集電タブの厚さ方向中央に寄せて束ねられ前記負極集電板の接合端部に接合されていることを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載の角形二次電池。 - 前記正極集電板の接合端部と前記複数の正極集電タブとの接続位置と、前記負極集電板の接合端部と前記複数の負極集電タブとの接続位置とが、前記捲回群の捲回中心に対して点対称の位置に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載の角形二次電池。
