Claims (5)
- 組電池を構成する直列接続された複数の電池セルの各電圧を、複数の電圧検出線を介して検出する、カスケード接続された複数の電圧検出用IC(Integrated Circuit)を備え、
前記複数の電圧検出用ICは、前記組電池から電源供給を受けて動作し、
隣接する二つの電圧検出用ICの高圧側の電圧検出用ICのグラウンド電位と、低圧側の電圧検出用ICの電源電位を共通とし、その共通ノードと、前記電池セル間の対応するノードとが前記電圧検出線で接続され、
前記複数の電圧検出用IC間は通信線で接続されており、前記複数の電圧検出用ICの少なくとも一つは、通信線で、前記複数の電圧検出用ICを制御する制御回路に接続されており、
本電池管理装置は、
前記複数の電圧検出用ICの内、前記制御回路と直接通信しない電圧検出用ICに接続されるダミー抵抗と、
当該ダミー抵抗への電流供給をオン/オフするスイッチと、をさらに備え、
前記複数の電圧検出用ICの内、前記制御回路と直接通信する電圧検出用ICには、ダミー抵抗と、当該ダミー抵抗への電流供給をオン/オフするスイッチが接続されないことを特徴とする電池管理装置。 - 各電圧検出用ICは、入力される電源電圧から、設定された値の定電圧を生成する電源回路を含み、
前記ダミー抵抗には、前記電源回路の出力電流が供給されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池管理装置。 - 前記制御回路と直接通信しない電圧検出回路のスイッチは、前記複数の電圧検出用IC間の各時点の負荷電流が不均一になり、かつ前記複数の電圧検出用IC間の一定期間における負荷電流が平準化するよう、スイッチングすることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の電池管理装置。
- 前記ダミー抵抗は、前記制御回路と直接通信する電圧検出用ICで発生する前記制御回路との通信による負荷電流の2倍の負荷電流が発生するよう設定され、
前記制御回路と直接通信しない複数の電圧検出用ICの各スイッチは、デューティ50%でスイッチングし、かつ隣りの電圧検出用ICのスイッチと180°の位相差でスイッチングすることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の電池管理装置。 - 複数の電池セルが直列接続された組電池と、
前記組電池を管理する請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の電池管理装置と、
を備えることを特徴とする電源装置。
