Claims (4)
- 組電池を構成する直列接続された複数の電池セルの各電圧を、複数の電圧検出線を介して検出する、カスケード接続された複数の電圧検出用IC(Integrated Circuit)を備え、
前記複数の電圧検出用ICは、前記組電池から電源供給を受けて動作し、
隣接する二つの電圧検出用ICの高圧側の電圧検出用ICのグラウンド電位と、低圧側の電圧検出用ICの電源電位を共通ノードから取得し、その共通ノードと、前記電池セル間の対応するノードとが、共通配線となる前記電圧検出線で接続され、
前記複数の電圧検出用IC間は通信線で接続されており、前記複数の電圧検出用ICの少なくとも一つは、通信線で、前記複数の電圧検出用ICを制御する制御回路に接続されており、
本電池管理装置は、
前記複数の電圧検出用ICの内、前記制御回路と直接通信しない電圧検出用ICに接続されるダミー抵抗と、
当該ダミー抵抗への電流供給をオン/オフするスイッチと、をさらに備え、
前記複数の電圧検出用ICの内、前記制御回路と直接通信する電圧検出用ICには、ダミー抵抗と、当該ダミー抵抗への電流供給をオン/オフするスイッチが接続されず、
前記制御回路と直接通信しない電圧検出回路のスイッチは、前記複数の電圧検出用IC間の各時点の負荷電流が不均一になり、かつ前記複数の電圧検出用IC間の一定期間における負荷電流が平準化するようスイッチングすることで、前記隣接する二つの電圧検出用ICの前記共通配線に電流が流れる状態を作り出すことを特徴とする電池管理装置。 - 各電圧検出用ICは、入力される電源電圧から、設定された値の定電圧を生成する電源回路を含み、
前記ダミー抵抗には、前記電源回路の出力電流が供給されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池管理装置。 - 前記ダミー抵抗は、前記制御回路と直接通信する電圧検出用ICで発生する前記制御回路との通信による負荷電流の2倍の負荷電流が発生するよう設定され、
前記制御回路と直接通信しない複数の電圧検出用ICの各スイッチは、デューティ50
%でスイッチングし、かつ隣りの電圧検出用ICのスイッチと180°の位相差でスイッチングすることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の電池管理装置。 - 複数の電池セルが直列接続された組電池と、
前記組電池を管理する請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の電池管理装置と、
を備えることを特徴とする電源装置。
