Abstract
Description
前記コア線の先端部は、前記コア線の軸方向に並んで設けられ、前記コア線の軸線を法線とする面上での特定の方向に変形容易な複数の易変形部を有し、
各前記易変形部の隣接する前記易変形部同士の変形容易な方向が異なっていることを特徴とするガイドワイヤである。
各前記易変形部の隣接する前記易変形部同士の面方向が異なっているのが好ましい。
図1は、本発明のガイドワイヤの第1実施形態を示す斜視図、図2は、図1に示すガイドワイヤが有するコア線の先端部の平面図、図3ないし図5は、それぞれ、図1に示すガイドワイヤが有するコア線の先端部の変形を示す斜視図、図6は、図1に示すガイドワイヤが血管内を進む様子を模式的に示す説明図である。なお、以下では、説明の都合上、図1中(図2〜図5も同様)の右側を「基端」、左側を「先端」と言う。また、図1(図2〜図5も同様)では、理解を容易にするため、ガイドワイヤの太さ方向を誇張して模式的に図示しており、長さ方向と太さ方向の比率は実際とは異なる。また、図1(図2〜図5も同様)に示すように、互いに直交する3つの軸をx軸、y軸およびz軸とし、そのうちのz軸は、コア線の軸線方向と平行に設定されている。
図7は、本発明のガイドワイヤの第2実施形態を示す斜視図、図8は、図7中のA−A線断面図である。なお、図7および図8では、説明の便宜上、被覆層の図示を省略している。
図9は、本発明のガイドワイヤの第3実施形態を示す斜視図である。
図10は、本発明のガイドワイヤの第4実施形態を示す斜視図、図11は、図10に示すガイドワイヤの分解図である。
Claims (9)
- 可撓性を有する金属材料で構成された線状をなすコア線を有し、
前記コア線の先端部は、前記コア線の軸線方向に並んで設けられ、前記コア線の軸線を法線とする面上での特定の方向に変形容易な複数の易変形部を有し、
各前記易変形部の隣接する前記易変形部同士の変形容易な方向が異なっていることを特徴とするガイドワイヤ。 - 各前記易変形部は、前記コア線の軸線に対して非回転対称な形状をなしている請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 各前記易変形部は、板片状をなし、
各前記易変形部の隣接する前記易変形部同士の面方向が異なっている請求項1または2に記載のガイドワイヤ。 - 各前記易変形部の隣接する前記易変形部同士は連結して設けられている請求項3に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記コア線の先端部は、前記コア線の軸方向に並んで設けられた複数の欠損部を有し、各前記欠損部の隣接する前記欠損部同士は、前記コア線の周方向にずれるようにして設けられており、前記コア線の前記欠損部が形成されている部位が前記易変形部を構成する請求項1または2に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 各前記欠損部は、前記コア線の中心軸を介して対向するように一対形成されている請求項5に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 各前記易変形部の変形容易な方向は、前記コア線の先端側に位置する前記易変形部から基端側に位置する前記易変形部に向けて順に、前記コア線の一方の周方向に連続してずれている請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 各前記易変形部の変形し易い方向は、前記コア線の先端側に位置する前記易変形部から基端側に位置する前記易変形部に向けて順に、等間隔でずれている請求項7に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記複数の易変形部のうち前記コア線の最も先端側に位置する易変形部の変形容易な方向と、最も基端側に位置する易変形部の変形容易な方向とは、前記一方の周方向において90°以上ずれている請求項7または8に記載のガイドワイヤ。
