Abstract
Description
本発明の一実施形態に係る排気処理装置1を図1および図2に示す。図1は排気処理装置1の側面図であり、図2は排気処理装置1の側面断面図である。この排気処理装置1は、ディーゼルエンジン等の内燃機関から排出される排気ガスを浄化するディーゼル・パーティキュレート・フィルター装置である。排気処理装置1は、入口ユニット2と、処理ユニット3と、出口ユニット4とを備える。
入口ユニット2は、処理ユニット3に対して排気ガスの流れの上流側に配置されており、内燃機関の排気通路(図示せず)に接続される。入口ユニット2は、第1本体管部5と、入口管部6とを有している。
処理ユニット3は、排気処理装置1に送られた排気ガスを浄化するためのユニットである。処理ユニット3は、図2に示すように、第2本体管部31と、フィルター33とを有する。
以下、排気処理装置1の製造手順のうち、特に、入口ユニット2の製造手順について図3に基づいて説明する。
この排気処理装置1では、入口管部6の第1部品23が第1本体管部5の開口を閉塞する部材を兼ねている。このため、部品点数を削減することができ、組み立てを容易に行うことができる。
上記の実施形態では、管状部分51は、軸方向に沿ったストレート形状を有しているが、管状部分51の形状はこれに限られない。例えば、管状部分51が本体管部側ほど幅広な形状であってもよい。この場合、排気ガスを入口管部6から第1本体管部5へと流れ易くすることができる。

Claims (8)
- 排気ガスが通過可能な本体排気通路が内部に設けられており、軸方向一端側に位置する端部が開口している本体管部と、
前記本体管部の前記端部の開口を閉じる板状部分と、前記本体排気通路と連通する排気通路が内部に設けられ前記本体管部の外周面から径方向外側に突出しており前記板状部分と一体化された管状部分とを有する閉塞管部と、
を備える排気処理装置。 - 前記管状部分は、前記板状部分と一体成形された第1半割部と、前記第1半割部に接合される第2半割部とを有し、
前記第1半割部と前記第2半割部との接合面には、互いに係合することにより前記第1半割部と前記第2半割部とを互いに位置決めする凸部および凹部が設けられている、
請求項1に記載の排気処理装置。 - 前記第1半割部と前記第2半割部とは、前記第1半割部と前記第2半割部との縁に沿ってそれぞれ設けられたフランジ部を有しており、
前記フランジ部の端部に当接する位置まで前記管状部分に嵌め込まれ、前記第1半割部と前記第2半割部とを一体化させる環状部材をさらに備える、
請求項2に記載の排気処理装置。 - 前記本体管部の内周面には、径方向内側に突出し前記内周面の周方向に並んだ複数の突起が設けられており、
前記突起に係止する位置において前記本体管部の内周面に接合される網状の整流部材をさらに備える、
請求項1に記載の排気処理装置。 - 前記板状部分は、前記本体管部の前記端部の縁の形状に合わせて窪んだ段部を有し、
前記本体管部の前記端部は、前記段部に当接することによって位置決めされる、
請求項1に記載の排気処理装置。 - 前記本体管部は、前記板状部分に接合される内側管部と、前記内側管部の外周面を覆うように設けられる断熱材と、前記断熱材の外周側を覆い前記内側管部よりも軸方向長さが長い外側管部とを有する、
請求項1に記載の排気処理装置。 - 前記管状部分は、前記本体管部側ほど幅広な形状を有する、
請求項1に記載の排気処理装置。 - 排気ガスが通過可能な本体排気通路が内部に設けられており、軸方向一端側に位置する端部が開口している本体管部と、前記本体排気通路と連通する排気通路が内部に設けられ前記本体管部の外周面から径方向外側に突出している管状部分とを備える排気処理装置を製造する方法であって、
板状部分と前記板状部分と一体成形された第1半割部とを有する第1部品に、前記第1半割部と共に前記管状部分を構成する第2半割部分を取り付けることによって、閉塞管部を組み立てる工程と、
前記板状部分が前記本体管部の前記端部の開口を閉じるように、前記閉塞管部を前記本体管部に取り付ける工程と、
を備える排気処理装置の製造方法。
