Abstract
Description
図1は、本発明の一態様に係る酸素貯蔵材料を概略的に示す図である。
セリウムとジルコニウムとの複合酸化物からなる第1粒子P1を製造する場合は、セリウム塩及びジルコニウム塩の溶液を調製する。セリウムとセリウム以外の希土類元素とジルコニウムとの複合酸化物からなる第1粒子P1を製造する場合は、セリウム塩とセリウム以外の希土類元素の塩とジルコニウム塩との溶液を調製する。
次いで、乾燥させた沈殿物を、酸化雰囲気中でか焼する。か焼の温度は、例えば、400℃乃至600℃の範囲内とする。さらに、か焼品を粉砕し、これを酸化雰囲気中で焼成する。この焼成の温度は、例えば、700℃乃至1000℃の範囲内とする。以上のようにして、第1粒子P1を得る。
希土類元素の塩とジルコニウム塩との溶液を調製する。次に、この溶液に例えば水酸化アンモニウムを滴下して、共沈を生じさせる。その後、沈殿物を溶液から分離し、その洗浄及び乾燥を行う。
まず、以下の方法により、粉末Aを生成した。
硝酸セリウム[Ce(NO3)3]とオキシ硝酸ジルコニウム[ZrO(NO3)2]と硝酸イットリウム[Y(NO3)3]とを500mLの脱イオン水中に溶解させた。硝酸セリウムとオキシ硝酸ジルコニウムと硝酸イットリウムとのモル比は、100:90:20とした。
硝酸セリウム[Ce(NO3)3]とオキシ硝酸ジルコニウム[ZrO(NO3)2]とを500mLの脱イオン水中に溶解させた。硝酸セリウムとオキシ硝酸ジルコニウムとのモル比は、100:100とした。
粉末Aと粉末Bとを乳鉢を用いて混合した。粉末Aと粉末Bとの重量比は90:10とした。以下、この混合物を粉末AB2と呼ぶ。
粉末Aと粉末Bとを乳鉢を用いて混合した。粉末Aと粉末Bとの重量比は50:50とした。以下、この混合物を粉末AB3と呼ぶ。
粉末Aと粉末Bとを乳鉢を用いて混合した。粉末Aと粉末Bとの重量比は30:70とした。以下、この混合物を粉末AB4と呼ぶ。
まず、粉末A、B及びAB1乃至AB4を10gずつ秤量し、各々を流通式の耐久試験装置内に配置して、装置内に窒素を主成分としたガスを1000mL/分の流量で20時間流通させた。この間、粉末の温度は1100℃に維持した。また、装置内に流通させるガスとしては、窒素に酸素を5%加えてなる混合ガスに10%の水蒸気をさらに加えてなるリーンガスと、窒素に一酸化炭素を10%加えてなる混合ガスに10%の水蒸気をさらに加えてなるリッチガスとを使用した。そして、リーンガスとリッチガスとは5分毎に切り替えた。
Claims (4)
- セリウムとジルコニウムとの複合酸化物又はセリウムとセリウム以外の希土類元素とジルコニウムとの複合酸化物からなる第1粒子と、希土類元素とアルカリ土類元素とジルコニウムとの複合酸化物を含有した第2粒子と、貴金属とを具備し、前記貴金属の一部は前記第2粒子が含有している前記複合酸化物と固溶体を形成している酸素貯蔵材料。
- 前記貴金属は前記第1及び第2粒子の前記複合酸化物のうち前記第2粒子が含有している前記複合酸化物のみと固溶体を形成している請求項1に記載の酸素貯蔵材料。
- 前記第2粒子は、セリウムとアルカリ土類元素とジルコニウムとの複合酸化物又はセリウムとセリウム以外の希土類元素とアルカリ土類元素とジルコニウムとの複合酸化物を含有した請求項1に記載の酸素貯蔵材料。
- 前記第2粒子は、セリウムとバリウムとジルコニウムとの複合酸化物を含有した請求項1に記載の酸素貯蔵材料。
