Claims (6)
- 垂直配向型の液晶層と、
前記液晶層を介して互いに対向する第1基板および第2基板と、
前記第1基板の前記液晶層側に設けられた第1電極および前記第2基板の前記液晶層側に設けられた第2電極と、
前記液晶層に接するように前記第1電極上に設けられた第1配向膜および前記液晶層に接するように前記第2電極上に設けられた第2配向膜を有し、
前記第1配向膜は、250nm以上380nm以下の波長範囲内に感光波長を有する第1配向膜材料に、前記感光波長を含む光を斜め照射することによって光配向処理が施されており、
前記第1配向膜と前記第1基板との間に形成された金属層と、前記金属層と前記第1配向膜との間に形成された第1樹脂層をさらに有し、
前記第1樹脂層は、前記第1樹脂層に入射し前記金属層で反射された前記感光波長の光の強度を60%以下まで減衰させる光学特性を有している、液晶表示装置。 - 前記第1樹脂層は、400nm以上800nm以下の波長範囲の光に対する透過率が90%以上である、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1樹脂層は感光性を有している、請求項1または2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1樹脂層は1μm以上5μm以下の厚さを有する、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1配向膜は、画素内に少なくとも2つの領域を有し、前記2つの領域は液晶分子に互いに異なるプレチルト方向を付与する、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記金属層は、ゲートバスライン、ソースバスライン、CSバスラインおよび遮光層からなる群の少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の液晶表示装置。
