2:導電体層(B)
CF2=CFOR1としては、CF2=CFOCF2CF3、CF2=CFOCF2CF2CF3、CF2=CFOCF2CF2CF2CF3、CF2=CFO(CF2)8F等が挙げられる。好ましくは、CF2=CFOCF2CF2CF3である。
CH2=CX3(CF2)qX4としては、CH2=CH(CF2)2F、CH2=CH(CF2)3F、CH2=CH(CF2)4F、CH2=CF(CF2)3H、CH2=CF(CF2)4H等が挙げられる。好ましくは、CH2=CH(CF2)4F又はCH2=CH(CF2)2Fである。
含フッ素共重合体をプレス成形して200μmのフィルムを得た。赤外吸収スペクトルにおいて、含フッ素共重合体中のIAH又はCAHに基づく繰り返し単位におけるC=O伸縮振動の吸収ピークはいずれも1870cm−1に現れる。その吸収ピークの吸光度を測定し、M=aLの関係式を用いてIAH又はCAHに基づく繰り返し単位の含有量M(モル%)を決定した。ここで、Lは1870cm−1における吸光度で、aは係数である。aとしては、IAHをモデル化合物として決定したa=0.87を用いた。
厚さ3mmの含フッ素共重合体のフィルムを200mm×120mmの大きさに切断し試験フィルムを作成した。試験フィルムの両面に導電ペーストを塗布して配線し、1MHzにおける誘電率及び誘電正接を測定した。
IPC TM−650 2.4.8に準拠して測定した。積層フィルムを切断して得た長さ150mm、幅10mmの試験フィルムを作成した。試験フィルムの長さ方向の端から50mmの位置まで電気絶縁体層(A)と導電体層(B)とを剥離した。ついで、その位置を中央にして、引張り試験機を用いて、引張り速度50mm/分で180度剥離し、最大荷重を剥離強度(N/10mm)とした。剥離強度が大きいほど、接着性に優れることを示す。
内容積が94リットルの撹拌機付き重合槽を脱気し、1−ヒドロトリデカフルオロヘキサン(以下、HTHという。)の71.3kg、1,3−ジクロロ−1,1,2,2,3−ペンタフルオロプロパン(旭硝子社製、AK225cb、以下、AK225cbという。)の20.4kg、CH2=CH(CF2)2Fの562g、IAHの4.45gを仕込み、重合槽内を66℃に昇温し、TFE/Eのモル比で89/11の初期モノマー混合ガスを導入し、1.5MPa/Gまで昇圧した。重合開始剤としてtert−ブチルペルオキシピバレートの0.7%HTH溶液の1Lを仕込み、重合を開始させた。重合中圧力が一定になるようにTFE/Eの59.5/40.5モル比のモノマー混合ガスを連続的に仕込んだ。また、重合中に仕込むTFEとEの合計モル数に対して3.3モル%に相当する量のCH2=CH(CF2)2Fと0.8モル%に相当する量のIAHを連続的に仕込んだ。重合開始9.9時間後、モノマー混合ガスの7.28kgを仕込んだ時点で、重合槽内温を室温まで降温するとともに常圧までパージした。
実施例1で用いた重合槽を脱気し、AK225cbの902kg、メタノールの0.216kg、CF3=CFOCF2CF2CF3の31.6kg、IAHの0.43kgを仕込み、重合槽内を50℃に昇温し、TFEを圧力が0.38MPaになるまで仕込んだ。重合開始剤溶液としてジ(ペルフルオロブチリル)ペルオキシドの0.25%AK225cb溶液を50mL仕込み、重合を開始させた。重合中圧力が一定になるようにTFEを連続的に仕込んだ。適宜前記重合開始剤溶液を追加添加し、TFEの仕込み速度をほぼ一定に保った。重合開始剤溶液は合計で120mL仕込んだ。また、連続的に仕込んだTFEの1モル%に相当する量のIAHを連続的に仕込んだ。重合開始6時間後にTFEの7.0kgを仕込んだ時点で、重合槽内を室温まで冷却するとともに、未反応TFEをパージした。
例1の導電体層(B)として、厚さ18μm、幅380mm、Rz0.8μmの圧延銅箔RCF−T4A−18(福田金属箔粉社製)を用いた以外は例1と同様にして、厚さ68μmの、圧延銅箔の層/含フッ素共重合体1の層からなる2層積層フィルムを得た。該積層フィルムにおける、含フッ素共重合体1の層と圧延銅箔の層との剥離強度は20N/10mm幅であり、充分な接着力を示した。
例2の導電体層(B)として、圧延銅箔RCF−T4A−18を用い、例2と同様の条件で貼り合わせ、厚さ68μmの、含フッ素共重合体2の層/圧延銅箔の層からなる2層積層フィルムを得た。該積層フィルムにおける、含フッ素共重合体2の層と圧延銅箔の層との剥離強度は15N/10mm幅であり、充分な接着力を示した。
含フッ素共重合体として、AMモノマーに基づく繰り返し単位を含有しない、エチレン/テトラフルオロエチレン系共重合体フルオンETFEC−88AXP(旭硝子社製、以下、ETFEという。)を押出し成形して厚さ50μmのETFEフィルムを得た、該ETFEフィルムを用いて例1と同様にして、厚さ68μmの、ETFEフィルムの層/電解銅箔の層からなる2層積層フィルムを作成した。該積層フィルムにおいて、ETFEフィルムの層と電解銅の層との剥離強度は0.03N/10mm幅であり、簡単に手で剥離し、接着性が不充分であった。
なお、2004年12月09日に出願された日本特許出願2004−356277号の明細書、特許請求の範囲、図面及び要約書の全内容をここに引用し、本発明の明細書の開示として、取り入れるものである。
Claims (7)
- テトラフルオロエチレン及び/又はクロロトリフルオロエチレンに基づく繰り返し単位(a)、フッ素モノマー(ただし、テトラフルオロエチレン及びクロロトリフルオロエチレンを除く。)に基づく繰り返し単位(b)、及び、酸無水物残基と重合性不飽和結合とを有するモノマーに基づく繰り返し単位(c)を含有し、((a)+(b)+(c))に対して(a)が50〜99.89モル%、(b)が0.1〜49.99モル%、(c)が0.01〜5モル%である含フッ素共重合体からなる電気絶縁体層(A)と、該電気絶縁体層(A)と接する面の表面粗さが10μm以下である導電体層(B)とが直接接着された積層構造を有するプリント配線板用積層体。
- 前記含フッ素共重合体が、さらに非フッ素モノマー(ただし、酸無水物残基と重合性不飽和結合とを有するモノマーを除く。)に基づく繰り返し単位(d)を含有し、((a)+(b)+(c))/(d)のモル比が100/5〜100/90である請求項1に記載のプリント配線板用積層体。
- 前記酸無水物残基と重合性不飽和結合とを有するモノマーが、無水イタコン酸、無水シトラコン酸及び5−ノルボルネン−2,3−ジカルボン酸無水物からなる群から選ばれる1種以上である請求項1又は2に記載のプリント配線板用積層体。
- 前記導電体層(B)が銅、銀、金若しくはアルミニウムの金属箔、又は金メッキを施した銅箔からなる請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のプリント配線板用積層体。
- 前記導電体層(B)の厚さが20μm以下である請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のプリント配線板用積層体。
- 前記導電体層(B)が銅箔からなる請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のプリント配線板用積層体。
- 前記表面粗さが0.1〜5μmである請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のプリント配線板用積層体。
