Claims (7)
- ステンレス製の二つの部材それぞれの端部を突き合わせる第1のステップと、
前記二つの部材それぞれの端部の間に、棒状の回転ツールの先端に設けられた直円柱形のピンを挿入し、該回転ツールを回転させつつ該端部の長手方向に沿って移動させる第2のステップと、
を含み、
前記ピンを含む前記回転ツールは、Si3N4を含んでいる、
金属材の接合方法。 - 前記回転ツールの側面を覆うようにノズルが設けられており、
前記第2のステップにおいて、前記ノズルからArを含むガスを前記回転ツール及び前記部材に供給する、
請求項1記載の金属材の接合方法。 - 前記ピンを含む前記回転ツールは、更にバインダを含んでいる、請求項1又は2に記載の金属材の接合方法。
- 前記回転ツールは、前記ピンより大径の円柱形をなすショルダーを有しており、
前記ピンは、前記ショルダーの一端面に設けられており
前記二つの部材は、JIS G 4305に規定のSUS304の板材であって、1.5mmの厚さを有しており、
前記ショルダーの径が、15mmであり、
前記回転ツールの回転数が、600rpmであり、
(回転ツールの移動速度〔mm/min〕/回転ツールの回転速度〔rpm〕)が、0.1以上0.7以下である、
請求項1〜3の何れか一項記載の金属材の接合方法。 - 前記回転ツールは、前記ピンより大径の円柱形をなすショルダーを有しており
前記ピンは、前記ショルダーの一端面に設けられており
前記二つの部材は、JIS G 4305に規定のSUS304の板材であって、
{(回転ツールの回転速度〔rpm〕×ショルダーの径[mm]3)/回転ツールの移動速度〔mm/min〕/板材の厚さ[mm]}が、3.2×103以上22.5×103以下である、
請求項1〜3記載の金属材の接合方法。 - 前記回転ツールは、前記ピンより大径の円柱形をなすショルダーを有しており、
前記ピンは、前記ショルダーの一端面に設けられており
前記二つの部材は、JIS E 4049に規定のSUS301L−DLTの板材であって、1.5mmの厚さを有しており、
前記ショルダーの径が、15mmであり、
前記回転ツールの回転数が、600rpmであり、
(回転ツールの移動速度〔mm/min〕/回転ツールの回転速度〔rpm〕)が、0.3以上0.5以下である、
請求項1〜3の何れか一項記載の金属材の接合方法。 - 前記回転ツールは、前記ピンより大径の円柱形をなすショルダーを有しており
前記ピンは、前記ショルダーの一端面に設けられており
前記二つの部材は、JIS E 4049に規定のSUS301L−DLTの板材であって、
{(回転ツールの回転速度〔rpm〕×ショルダーの径[mm]3)/回転ツールの移動速度〔mm/min〕/板材の厚さ[mm]}が、4.5×103以上7.5×103である、
請求項1〜3の何れか一項記載の金属材の接合方法。
