Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a high performance thin film type high temperature superconductor with good reproductivity by applying a glass coat on a base, forming a metal coat on the glass coat, and adhering a specified oxide coat to the metal film. CONSTITUTION:A base 11 is coated with a glass film 14, on which a metal film 12 is formed, while on which metal film 12 a ternary compound film 13 of an oxide including A, B and Cu whose element ratio is represented by a formula I is coated. In the formula, A is at least one kind of elements among Sc, Y and lanthanides series element (atom No. 57-71), and B at least one kind of IIa group elements such as Ba, Sr, Ca, Be, Mg. The materials of a superconductor is deposited in this way on a base 11 after they are disintegrated to extremely fine particles in an atom condition, so the composition of the superconductor is uniformed in its quality, and is uniquely deposited in a fine and flat manner. It is therefore possible to obtain a superconductor of extremely high accurate form adapted for the integration with different elements.
