Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は支持構造体と、第１端が座席に丁番づけされ、
第２端が支持構造体に丁番づけされた控え欅の形を取っ
た部材よりなる少なくとも一つの平行四辺形リンク仕掛
けによって支持構造体に連結されることによって座席が
下降位置と上昇位置との間を枢動できるようにした座席
と、椅子支持構造体に丁番づけされ座席の下降位置に対
応する直立位置と座席の上昇位置に対応する横たわった
位置との間を枢動可能であるように座席に操作可能に連
結された背もたれ支持構造体を有する背もたれとよりな
る椅子に関する。
このような形式の椅子はデュパールのフランス特許第２
０４５１２０号に記載されている。
上記特許に図示説明の座席は背もたれが使用者自身の体
重に比例する力を使用者の背中にかけることを可能にし
ているが、やや複雑で、しかも背もたれによって座席の
変位を制御する装置に組入れられた平行四辺形仕掛は比
較的寸法が大きい。
本発明の目的は先きに採用した解決策の欠点のない特に
簡単でコンパクトな座席／背もたれ連結装置を備えた椅
子を提供することにある。
本発明によれば、この目的は背もたれ支持構造体が控え
棒部材の一つに固定されていること、また前記平行四辺
形リンク仕掛けに組込まれ背もたれをその上昇位置へ偏
倚させる弾性装置が設けられたことにより達成される。
上記特徴の結果、平行四辺形リンク仕掛は寸法が特に小
さく、所謂積重ね椅子の場合にも使用可能である。さら
に、背もたれ／座席連結装置がコンパクトなために、見
た目に美しいのみならず、相当複雑で高価につき寸法も
大きい椅子または肘掛椅子と同じ特徴を持った椅子を得
ることができる。
好ましくは、本発明の椅子においては、上記の控え棒部
材の少なくとも一つが椅子支持構造体に丁番づけされた
端に補助アームを有し、上記弾性装置がこの補助アーム
とこの椅子支持構造体との間に配置されている。
本発明の椅子のさらに別の特徴および利点は添付の図面
を参考にして非制限的実施例により以下の詳細な説明に
よって明らかになるであろう０ さて図について述べると、符号１０は積重ね式椅子を全
体的に示す。椅子は前脚１３、後脚１４、前脚１３を頂
部において連結する前側管状横材と、後脚１４を頂部に
おいて連結する後側管状横材と、前側横材１５と後側横
材工６とを連結するＵ字形部分よりなる一対の縦方向ブ
レース１８とより構成されている。
椅子はまた座席１９と金属管２１よりなる内部支持構造
体を備えた背もたれ２０を有する。
各ブレース１８は前側に一対の第１ラグ２２と後側に椅
子１０の後側横材１６に隣接する一対の第２ラグ２３と
を有する。一対の第１板２５は２４において一対の第１
ラグ２２に丁番づけされているが、一対の第２ラグ２７
は２６において各一対の第２ラグに丁番づけされている
。
各第１板２５は２９において座席１９に丁番づけされた
第１端２５ａと、３０において金属棒３１に丁番づけさ
れた第２ｍ２５ｂとを有する。
第１および第２板の第１ｉ２５ａおよび２７＆はＵ字形
金属部材５０および５１によって序席１９に丁番づけさ
れていて、且つ５２および５３において金属棒３４の両
端に固定されている。
金属棒３４はこれを座席１９にねじ３６で接続するため
の穴３５を有する。
各板２７はこれが縦方向ブレース１８に丁番づけされて
いる部位２６の付近に背もたれ２．０の金属構造２１に
溶接された部分２７ｏを有すると共にブレース１８の底
壁に対接するように設計された止め部分２７′ｂを有す
る。
板２５および２７の第２端２５１＋および２７ｂに丁番
づけされた棒３１は対接部材４０に面する環状肩部３１
ａを有する。この肩部３１ａは実質的に７オーク形をし
て縦方向ブレース１８の壁に固定され内部には俸３１が
摺動自在に取付けられている。突起４０と環状肩部３１
＆との間にコイルはね４２が配置され、このばねは棒３
１と同軸関係にあり、その動作態様を以下に説明する。
第３図は背もたれ２０が直立位置Ａを取っている椅子の
「休止」状態を示す。この状態では、ばね４２は縦方向
ブレース１８の平行四辺形リンク仕掛と、座席１９と、
丁番づけ部位２４と２９との間および丁番づけ部位２６
と３２との間にそれぞれ記数された板２５の部分と２７
の部分とに作用して座席１９をＢで示す下降位置に維持
する。この下降位置では板２７の止め部分２７ｃｌはそ
れぞれのブレース１８と接触している。
丁番部位２４．２９および２６．３２間にそれぞれ延び
る板２５．２７の部分は控え棒の機能を果しているが、
丁番部位２４．３０問および２６．３３間にそれぞれ延
びている板の部分は俸３１に接続するため補助アームの
機能を果していることが理解されよう。
作動状態において、部ち使用者がその背中を背もたれ２
０にあてて押す場合は、背もたれは後方へ枢動して横た
わった安定位ｔｅａになると同時に図示の安定位置りに
達するまで板２５および２７がそれぞれの支点２４およ
び２６を中心に席１９を第２板２７に固定された金属構
造体２１によって上げさせる。この安定状態を第４図に
詳細に示す。
この安定位置Ｏにおいて、背もたれ２０は使用者自身の
体重に比例し且つコイルばね４２による力で増大された
力を使用者の背中に加える。
このように、板２５および２７の寸法、従って平行四辺
形のリンク仕掛の全体の寸法を小さくし使用者の確実で
気持ちのよい操作を保証することができる。
席／背もたれ連結装置はどの形式の椅子または肘掛は椅
子にも使用できて便利である。

ンク仕掛の斜視図、第３図は座席を下げた場合の形状を
示す第２図のｍ−■線に沿った断面図、第４図は座席を

った断面図である。 なお図において、符号１２は椅子支持構造体、１８は支
持構造体、１９は座席、２０は背もたれ、２１は背もた
れ支持構造体、２５．２７は控え棒部材、２７ｂは補助
アーム、２７ｃは第３部分、３１は棒、３１＆は肩部、
４０は関連対接部材、４２はフィルばね、Ａは座席の上

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １、支持構造体（１８）と、第１端が座席（１９）に丁
    番づけされ第２端が上記支持体（１８）に丁番づけされ
    た控え棒（２５、２７）の形を取つた部材よりなる少な
    くとも一つの平行四辺形リンク仕掛により、上記支持体
    （１８）に連結されることによつて座席（１９）が下降
    位置と上昇位置との間を移動可態にされた座席（１９）
    と、椅子支持構造体（１８）に丁番づけされ座席（１９
    ）の下降位置に対応する上昇位置と座席（１９）の上昇
    位置に対応する横たわつた位置との間を枢動できるよう
    に座席（１９）に操作自在に連結された背もたれ支持構
    造体（２１）を備えた背もたれ（２０）とよりなる椅子
    において、上記背もたれ支持構造体（２１）が控え棒部
    材の一つ（２７）に固定されていることおよび平行四辺
    形リンク仕掛（１８、１９、２５、２７）と関連し背も
    たれ（２０）をその直立位置（Ａ）の方へ向けて偏倚さ
    せる弾性装置（４２）が設けられたことを特徴とする椅
    子。 ２、前記控え材部材の少なくとも一つ（２７）が椅子支
    持構造体（１８）に丁番づけされた端に補助アームを有
    することおよび前記弾性装置（４２）が該補助アームと
    椅子支持構造体（１８）との間に介置されたことを特徴
    とする特許請求の範囲第１項に記載の椅子。 ３、前記補助アーム（２７ｂ）に棒（３１）が、丁番づ
    けされ、該棒（３１）には支持構造体（１８）に固定さ
    れた関連の対接部材（４０）に向いた肩部（３１ａ）が
    設けられていて、該棒（３１）と同軸方向のコイルばね
    （４２）が上記肩部（３１ａ）と上記対接部材（４０）
    との間に配置されていることを特徴とする特許請求の範
    囲第２項に記載の椅子。 ４、各平行四辺形リンク仕掛けの両控え材部材（２５、
    ２７）には前記棒（３１）の各端に枢着された補助アー
    ムが設けられたことを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第３項
    に記載の椅子。 ５、前記椅子支持構造体（１２）が座席（１９）に隣接
    する一対の縦方向ブレース（１８）よりなる特許請求の
    範囲第３項または４項に記載の椅子において、各縦方向
    ブレース（１８）が該ブレースの前端および後端にそれ
    ぞれ隣接する一対の第１および第２板を枢支し、各板が
    控え棒部材を構成する第１部分と関連の補助アームを構
    成する第２部分とを含み、該一対の第２板（２７）は背
    もたれ（２０）の支持構造体（２１）が固定された第３
    部分（２７ｃ）を備えたことを特徴とする椅子。 ６、前記縦方向の横材（１８）が前記棒（３１）および
    前記コイルばね（４２）が含まれたＵ字形部分よりなる
    ことを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第５項に記載の椅子。
