Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 (a) 産業上の利用分野 本考案は、エンジンの気化器の吸気口に連通し
て吸気中の塵埃等を除去するためのエヤークリー
ナに係るものである。
(b) 従来技術および解決しようとする問題点 従来、この種のエヤークリーナにおいては、と
くにチエンソーのごとき小型の携帯用の２サイク
ルエンジンにおいては、気化器の吸気口を通じて
エンジンの吸気音が放出され、この吸気音がフイ
ルターを通じて外部に伝わつて、大きな騒音とな
つていた。この場合、大気に連通する開口部の面
積を小さくすると、エンジンの吸気音は緩衝され
て小さくなるが、反対にこの小さい開口部を通過
する吸気の吸気音が大きくなり、またエンジンに
背圧をあたえて性能を低下させ、しかも混合気が
吹き返しによつてフイルターに直接衝突して、燃
料が液化してフイルターに付着し、フイルターの
目詰りを助長する等の欠点があつた。
(c) 問題を解決しようとする手段および作用 本考案は、気化器を覆つて、気化器の上面の吸
気口に連通する吸気室を設け、吸気室を囲む外周
部に沿つて仕切壁を設け、この仕切壁の外方に沿
つて形成された吸気通路３３の外方を覆うフイル
ターを設け、フイルターの外方を大気に連通する
とともに、吸気通路の下端を吸気室に連通したも
ので、吸気の通過する通路の面積を小さくするこ
となく、しかもエンジンの吸気音は、仕切壁によ
つて直接大気に伝播することを遮蔽し、かつフイ
ルターより内側の長い吸気通路を通過する際に干
渉をじ、騒音が減少し、さらに吹き返し風を仕切
壁に衝突させて混合気中の燃料を仕切壁に液化付
着させて除去してフイルターの目詰りを防止する
ものである。
(d) 実施例 図において、１はボルト３によつて断熱体５を
介してエンジン（図示せず）に固着する気化器、
７は気化器１の上面吸気口９に連通する吸気室
で、エンジン（図示せず）を収容する本体ケース
１１とエヤークリーナケース１３とに囲まれて形
成されている。１５はボルト３によつて気化器１
にとも締めされた支持板、１７は支持板１５に螺
合してエヤークリーナケース１３を固定するね
じ、１９はエヤークリーナケース１３の内部に軸
２１によつて揺動自在に枢着されたアーム、２３
はアーム１９に支持された弁体で、アーム１９の
揺動作動によつて吸気口９を開閉する。２５は軸
２１の外端に固着するレバーである。２７は吸気
室７の外周部２９に設けた開口部で大気に連通し
ている。３１は開口部２７を覆う布状のフイルタ
ー、３３は開口部２９の内側に沿つて設けた吸気
通路で、仕切壁３５によつて吸気室７との間を仕
切られている。３７は吸気通路３３の下端と吸気
室９とを連通する連通路である。
以上の実施例において、大気は開口部２７，２
７，…から吸引されて、フイルター３１を通過し
て、吸気通路３３を通つて連通路３７から吸気室
７内に入り、吸気口９から気化器１に吸引され
る。エンジンの吸気音は仕切壁３５に妨げられ
て、直接大気に伝わることがなく、しかも吸気通
路３３が細長に、屈曲して設けられているので、
吸気音がこの中を通過するとき干渉して消音され
るとともに、吹き返し風は仕切壁に衝突して、混
合気中の燃料が仕切壁に付着して除去され、フイ
ルターに付着して目詰りを生じることがない。
(e) 考案の効果 本考案は、請求の範囲に記載のとおりの構成で
あるから、気化器の吸気口から放出されるエンジ
ンの吸気音を、フイルター面積，通路の面積を縮
少することなく、有効に消音することができ、し
かも吹き返し風の混合気中の燃料を仕切壁に付
着，除去してフイルターの目詰りを防止できるも
のである。
なお、本考案は前述の実施例に限定されるもの
ではなく、他の態様においても実施しうるもので
ある。また、請求の範囲に示す符号は本考案の技
術的範囲を限定するものではない。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 気化器１の外周を覆つて、前記気化器１の上面
    の吸気口９に連通する吸気室７を設け、前記吸気
    室７を囲む外周部２９に沿つて仕切壁３５を設
    け、前記仕切壁３５の外方に沿つて形成された吸
    気通路３３の外方を覆うフイター３１を設け、前
    記フイルター３１の外方を大気に連通するととも
    に、前記吸気通路３３の下端を前記吸気室７に連
    通して設けたことを特徴とするエヤクリーナ。
