PURPOSE:To always hold atomization of fuel to a good condition, by controlling an auxiliary amount of air, circulated in a subair passage, in accordance with signals of engine cooling water temperature, engine intake air amount, power steering, air conditioning, etc. CONSTITUTION:A flow control valve 8, provided in the half way of a subair passage 7, is equipped with a housing 18, and an inflow chamber 21 and outflow chamber 22, communicated through a pair of valve holes 19, 20, are provided in this housing 18. Then a solenoid 27, moving valve bodies 23, 24 against a spring 26, can be excited by a control unit 28. This control unit 28 performs comparison and arithmetic operation of signals from a water temperature sensor 10, crank angle sensor 29, air flow meter 17, air conditioner switch 30 and power steering sensor 31.
