Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a controller which has a simple construction and a high reliability and can control the idling revolution speed of an engine by using control parameters which are the warming-up condition of the engine, the turning on and off of an air conditioner or the like. CONSTITUTION:The controller regulates the revolution speed of the engine by controlling the degree of opening of a valve element 35, namely, the quantity of auxiliary air bypassed through a throttle vavle 17 depending on the intensity of negative pressure introduced into a chamber 38 of an air control valve 30. The intensity of the negative pressure in the chamber 38 is determined by the time ratio of opening of a pipe 56, namely, the time ratio of energization of an electromagnetic mechanism 50. This mechanism is controlled by a control unit 60, which comprises a D/A conversion circuit 100 connected with a revolution speed sensor 18, a function voltage generator circuit 200 connected with a warming-up sensor 19 and an air conditioning switch 28, a comparator circuit 300, an integration circuit 400, a second comparator circuit 600 connected with an oscillator 500, and a switching circiut 800.
