Abstract

PURPOSE:To equalize the thickness of a resin insulated layer and to improve quality by a method wherein a coil impregnated with resin is immersed in a heat curing tank filled with unreusable resin for heating and after taking out the coil under semihardening state, the coil is again heated for curing. CONSTITUTION:An insulating tape 12 with good resin impregnation is wound on the external circumference of a coil 11 wound with an element wire and rough insulation is applied to the insulating tape 12. Furthermore, the external circumference of the insulating tape 12 is covered with a good mold releasing tape 13 consisting of a fluororesin film, for example. Next, the tapes 12, 13 are immersed in an impregnating tank to impregnate insulating resin in the coil 11. Next, the coil 11 is taken out of the tank and immersed in a heat hardening tank 3 filled with unreusable used insulating resin 2 to perform heat hardening treatment. At that time, a packing 4 is inserted in the central part of the coil. Next, when the resin 2 reaches semihardening conditions, the coil is taken out of the hardening tank 3 to peel the resin 2 and tape 13 and the coil 11 is again heated until the impregnated resin is completely hardened. In this way, the flow- out of resin impregnated at the hardening process of the coil can be prevented and the thickness of an insulating layer can be equalized to improve insulation.
