Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the crack of a bobbin due to the heating expansion of a transfer molded coil by feeding a coil conductor via a roller which is immersed in thermosetting resin to adhere the resin to the coil conductor, thereby impregnating the resin to the interior of the coil conductor. CONSTITUTION:When a coil conductor 12 is wound on a column 11 of a coil bobbin 10, it is fed, in order to impregnate thermosetting resin into the interior of the coil conductor, via a roller 13 which is immersed in the resin and the resin is thus adhered to the coil conductor 12. This coil conductor 12 is wound to form a coil winding, and the resin is hardened, thereby forming a coil. Thereafter, the coil is transfer molded and a resin layer is formed. Since the resin can be simply impregnated to the coil winding according to this method, it can reduce the improper crack of the column of a bobbin due to the heated resin of the coil and allow the coil to reduce the improper disconnection of the coil conductor.
