Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate works therefor and obtain the FRP tube having a thick thickness and high-performances in a good productivity utilizing rapid hardening resin without excess resin by a method wherein glass fiber is wound around a core and a hardening resin composite is bonded thereon and impregnated thereinto, thereafter, is hardened.
CONSTITUTION: Upon forming the layer of FRP on the core, the glass fiber on which the hardening resin composite is not bonded yet is wound around the core and the hardening resin composite coated beforehand on the core before winding and/or coated after winding is bonded to and impregnated into the glass fiber layer wound on the core to obtain the objective FRP tube. For further reference, unsaturated polyester resin, epoxy resin, phenolic resin, vinyl ester resin or the like may be utilized as the hardening resin.
