Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the efficient production of a tubular object having grooves, letters, etc. in its surface, by winding around a core a prepreg sheet, wherein a fibre textile or a fibre-paralleled sheet being impregnated with resin , securing a mold on a circumferential surface, and by solidifying the resin.
CONSTITUTION: A prepreg sheet 1, which is produced in such a manner as causes resin to be soaked in fibre textile, such as glass, carbon, and organic fibres, is wound around a core 2 to form a sheet-wound object 3. A mold 4 having a projection 4A at the inside cutting into the object 3 is laid on the circumference of the object 3. The mold and the sheet-wound object 3 are firmly tightened together by a tape 5, the projection 4A of the mold 4, thus, cutting into the sheet-wound object 3. The object 3 is then hardened according to a hardening condition of the resin used for the prepreg sheet 1, the mold 4 being removed after unwinding the tape 5. The surface is then ground to the extent that the molded groove 3A formed in the outer circumference can remain, and as a result, unnecessary uneven grooves 3B is cleared away. The tubular object having molded grooves in the desired surface of the outer circumference can thus be produced.
