Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce a resin-molded winding for short time without a mold or the like by coating resin composition containing ultraviolet ray curable resin on a winding wire, curing the resin by ultraviolet rays to impregnate the resin to thereby form a sealing layer from which the impregnated resin is not leaked.
CONSTITUTION: A winding wire 1 forming a resin-molded winding is wound in a plurality of turns on a core 3. While the wire 1 is rotating, resin composition containing ultraviolet ray curable resin is coated on the entire surface of the wire 1. Then, ultraviolet rays are irradiated to the resin composition to cure the resin to thereby form an outer layer sealing layer 2 with the composition. The wire 1 thus formed with the sealing layer 2 is inserted into a heating furnace to dehumidify and preheat the wire. Then, the wire 1 is inserted into a vacuum tank and resin composition is flown from the top to impregnate the resin composition to the wire 1. Thus, the resin-molded winding can be readily produced without a mold or the like.
