Abstract

PURPOSE: To mold a resin-impregnated coil in a short period of time for which various colorants and flame retarders can be used by forming a film to stop unhardened resin leaking on the coil outer surface from applying far infrared rays to the coil as turning it.
CONSTITUTION: An inside insulation layer 11 is wound on a core 13 to a given thickness, an insulated conductor 7 and a layer insulating material 9 are wound then alternately to a given number of turns, the insulating material 9 is inserted in a space left at both ends in this case, and an outside insulation layer 10 is wound finally to a given thickness, thereby obtaining a ground coil 1. The ground coil 1 is subjected to impregnation treatment by means of a resin composition, the ground coil 1 is then taken out of the impregnation, a driving shaft 15 is inserted in the core 13 and set on a slewing gear 16 which is provided in a room of normal temperature, infrared rays are applied from a far infrared ray lamp 17 to the ground coil 1 as turning it round the central axis of the core 13, a film 14 is thus formed to stop unhardened resin leaking on outer surface of the ground coil 1, and various colorants and flame retarders are added thereto, thus molding the resin-impregnated coil in a short period of time.
