Abstract

PURPOSE: To make a sealing coat of unhardened resin on a coil surface and also to accelerate resin curing from inside by a method wherein far infrared rays are irradiated on the surface of a coil to impregnate as turning, and a winding core is heated.
CONSTITUTION: An inside insulated layer 11 is wound on a winding core 13, an insulating material 7 and a layer insulating material 9 are wound alternately, a packing is inserted in a space between both ends, and finally an outside insulated layer 10 is wound to obtain an elementary coil 1. Next, a seal layer 14 is formed on end of the elementary coil 1. Then, the elementary coil 1 is subjected to a vacuum pressurization impregnation in an impregnating resin together with the winding core 13. After that, a driving shaft 15 is inserted to set on a rotator 16, the outer periphery of the coil 1 is irradiated by a far infrared ray lamp 17 as turning it round the winding core 13, a sealing coat of an unhardened resin is thus formed on the coil surface, and a current is carried to a heater 18 provided in the winding core 13 to heat the coil 1 from inside, thereby accelerating hardening of the impregnated resin.
