Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the flow out of insoluble type varnish and to improve an insulating feature and mechanical strength, by applying soluble varnish on winding- end portion outside a slot and curing the varnish, and impregnating insoluble type varnish to the winding and curing the varnish. CONSTITUTION:Conducting wire 3 is randomly wound in a slot 1 of an iron core with a slot insulator 2 intervening between the two. Then, soluble type varnish is applied to the winding end of the outside of the slot and cured, thereby a resinous layer is formed. Thereafter, insoluble type varnish is impregnated to the winding, heated, kand cured. As an impregnating method of the insoluble type varnish, there are a vacuum impregnating method and a dropping impregnating method, but the dropping impregnating method is preferable. In this method, insoluble type varnish does not flow out in curing, and an insulating feature and mechanical strength can be improved.
