Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a compact insulating layer by using a sheet formed by winding an aggregate mica sheet, which is obtained by unifying aggregate mica foil, a high molecular hybrid and heat-shrinkable fibers, on a coil conductor and impregnating thermocuring resin for a high-voltage rotary machine such as a turbine generator. CONSTITUTION:With the coil conductor 1 consisting of a large number of insulating conductor strands, a rectilinear section 3 inserted into a slot of an armature core and coil end sections 4 shaped by bending both ends of the conductor are formed, and an insulating layer 2 is further shaped extending over the full length of the outer circumference while leaving connecting ends. A mica layer 9a and a porous insulating material layer 9b are formed in the layer 2, and a layer 12 composed of the aggregate mica foil and the high molecular hybrid and a lining material layer 13, which mainly consists of the heat-shrinkable fiber material and contains some aggregate mica foil and high molecular hybrid, are unified as shown as the aggregate mica sheet 14 in the layer 9a. The layer 9b is heated and cured through the vaccum impregnation of the thermocuring resin, or brought to a semi-curing shape. Accoridingly, the compact insulating layer 2 can be obtained through the shrinkage effect of the heat-shrinkable fibers in the layer 2.
