Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a lead wire wherein an insulating layer is formed by winding a glass mica insulating material around the periphery of a conductor, braid-winding of a fiber around the periphery of said insulating layer is carried out, and a resin is impregnated therein, thereby to obtain a lead wire of high heat resistance, corrona resistance, impregnated resin resistance and excellent workability.
CONSTITUTION: A glass mica insulation material consisting essentially of glass and mica is wound around the periphery of a conductor 5 to form an insulating layer 6, and braid-winding 7 of a fiber is applied to the periphery of said layer 6, a resin being impregnated in said winding. For instance, around the periphery of a conductor 5 consisting, for example, of 48 pieces of soft copper wire (0.18 mmϕ) × 7 bundles there is wound a glass mica inculating material of 10 mm width by alternately changing winding directions in gap winding in a plurality of layers, and further similarly a glass mica insulating material of 14 mm width is wound therearound in lap winding in a plurality of layers, thereby to form the insulating layer 6. The periphery of the insulating layer 6 is coated with a braid-winding of polyester fiber, and an epoxy resin is impregnated in said braid-winding 7 thereby to obtain a lead wire 8 or a finish outer diameter of 10 mm.
