Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve crack-resistant property remarkably, by winding a resin- impregnated highly-reinforced-fiber material around a coil which is wound around an insulating tube, and curing the resin by heating at the same time. CONSTITUTION:A coil 6 is wound around an insulating tube 5 with the coil being divided. Epoxy resin 10 and the like are impregnated into a highly-reinforced-fiber material such as a glass roping material and the like, and a resin-impregnated glass- roping material 12 is wound around the concave portions 11 in the coil 6 until it reaches the same hight as the coil 6. Then, the glass roping material is wound around the entire surface of the coil and an insulating layer 13 is formed. During the time of winding, infrared heating 14 is performed to expedite the curing of the resin. Heating is continued after the formation of the insulting layer 13 until the gelation is achieved. Then, the coil is cured by treating in a heating furnace. If broad glass tape is inserted and wound concurrently with the winding work of the material 12, the strength in the axial direction is increased. In this constitution, crack-resistant property is improved, a uniform molded layer is formed, and electric characteristics are rendered excellent.
