Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy production of a coil for an electric device by forming a space among a plurality of cylindrical coil elements by a duct piece and inserting a porous insulator among the coil layers to immerse and cure molding resin with the coil. CONSTITUTION:A rigid insulator is formed to a cylindrical shape to obtain a cylindrical insulator 100a, porous insulator 111 having good impregnating property is wound on the outer periphery of the insulator, while one insulating elements 50, a porous insulator 111, a high dielectric strength filmlike insulator 112 and a porous insulator 111 are sequentially wound thereon, and finally an insulating strand 50 is further wound to form coil elements 21 and 22. The coil elements 21 and 22 are coaxially disposed, a duct piece 90 is inserted, molding resin is impregnated and cured thermally to complete a molded coil.
