Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate unnecessary voids within wire windings and improve thermal conductivity remarkably by a mechanism wherein magnet wires being covered in layer on the outside of the insulated layer by foaming synthetic resin material are wound upon iron core, expanded by foaming, and then injecting thermosetting resin thereinto. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic wires 6 are prepared in the manner such that polyester paint is coated by baking on a conductive material 7, covered by an insulating layer 8 of enamel film, followed by the coating of foaming synthetic resin 9, e.g. polyethylene, urethane, and the like. A slot insulating material 2 is applied on a slot 1a, and after magnet wires 6 are wound thereupon, predrying for the purpose of annealing treatment for the magnet wires 6 and dehumidifying of the insulating material 2 is continued for 1-2hr. by heating at, e.g. 1,300 deg.C. By the effect of said heating, foaming synthetic resin 9 foams and expands filling voids inside the wire wiring, followed by the injection of thermosetting synthetic resin 5. Through these procedures, thermal conductive property of the wire windings can be remarkably improved.
