Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to form a precise insulating layer having a superior heat resisting quality on the surface of an optionally shaped coil, etc., by a method wherein a heat-shrinkable tape performed with nonadhesive treatment on the surface is wound around on the insulating layer and is impregnated with a solventless resin, and after it is heated to be hardened, the film is removed. CONSTITUTION:A conductor 1 is wound with mica, glass cloth, etc., by flat- winding or tape-winding to form the insulating layer 2. The nonadhesive heat- shrinkable tape 3 like polyester tape, etc., of short time usig temperature, for example 220 deg.C, is wound around thereon. The whole thereof is put in an impregnation tank and is impregnated with pressure with the solventless thermosetting resin in a vacuum. It is transfered into a thermostatic oven and is heated at the prescribed temperature for the prescribed hours to make the impregnated resin to be hardened, and after it is cooled, the heat-shrinkable tape is removed. Accordingly the precise insulating layer having the superior heat resisting quality can be formed on the surface of the optionally shaped coil, conductor, etc.
