Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the title coil with simply procedures and at a low cost by laying duct forming material consisting of foam plastic material between the first and the second coils, injecting and hardening synthetic resin followed by removing the duct forming material to form a cooling duct.
CONSTITUTION: A coil conductor 11 is wound arround on a coil winding mold 10 by turns through interstage insulators 12. After a prescribed number of windings, a duct forming material 13 made of foam plastic material is placed and further thereup the coil conductor 11 is wound arround through interstage insulators 12 to form coil. The coil 15 thus formed is in corporated into a metallic mold for molding coil, which is not illustrated, and synthetic resin material 14 made of e.g. polyester system resin is injected. At the time of semihardening or after hardening, the duct forming material 13 is removed to provide a resin mold coil.
