Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the steps of manufacturing a wound stator by gelling varnish immersed in the coil, sufficiently raising the end of the coil, coating ultraviolet curable varnish thereon, irradiating ultraviolet rays thereto, heating and curing the entirety, and protecting the end of the coil in a simplified manner. CONSTITUTION:Varnish is immersed in a stator 1 on which a coil 2 is wound, and heated to gel the varnish on the surface of the coil. Thereafter, ultraviolet curable varnish is sufficiently raised on the surface of the end 3 of the coil, ultraviolet rays are irradiated thereto, and the coil end protecting raised part 4 is formed. The entirety is heated to completely cure the immersed varnish and ultraviolet curable varnish together. Thus, it can prevent the layer short and the disconnection due to the floating of the wire at the end of the coil and eliminate the necessity of fixing the end of the coil with clamping yarn.
