Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a voidless insulating layer with uniform thickness, and to improve quality by a method wherein an exfoliating tape is wound on an outer circumference of the field coil, the coil is impregnated with the insulating resin, the resin is thermally cured, the excessive resin is removed and the tape is removed. CONSTITUTION:An insulating tape is wound on the outer circumference of the field coil 3 on which winding is wound and the main insulating layer 4 is shaped, a material obtained by winding the exfoliating tape or sheet 5 such as the fluorine resing tape on the outer circumference of the layer 4 is entered into an insulating resin layer 6, padding 7 is inserted into a hollow section and the coil is impregnated with the insulating resin. When impregnation is completed, the resin surrounding the coil is thermally cured, the excessive resin adhering on the surface of the exfoliating tape 5 is mold-released, and the exfoliating tape 5 is removed. Consequently, the main insulating layer 4 is the strong insulating layer impregnated with the insulating resin with uniform thickness. Accordingly, the insulating property and heat conductivity of the coil of the electric machine are ameliorated, and life and reliability are improved.
