Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction by forming a concave section, which can house the upper section of a semiconductor element, to the cover of a vessel, keeping the surface section of the element at the cover side from the bonding section of the cover of a base body and the substrate, and coating the inner surface of the cover with an organic resin film. CONSTITUTION:The base body 4a of the vessel is made shallow than conventional base bodies, and the element 1 is fixed to a region 41a, difference in stages thereof with the circumference is reduced. The upper section of the element is housed in the concave section 51 of the cover 5a, and heatproof polyimide resin 9 is bonded 10 onto the inner surface to interrupt the incidence of radiation from the cover 5a into the function region of the upper section of the element. According to this constitution, radiation from the base body 4a and the bonding section 6 has hardly an effect because the base body and the bonding section are not opposed to the surface in which there is the function region of the element. Accordingly, the device does not operate by mistake.
