Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an OR output at a high speed without deteriorating frequency characteristics, by constituting a multiple-input source follower circuit by comparing two inputs with each other by (n) voltage comparing circuits and by connecting their outputs to an OR output circuit composed of MOS transistors (TR). CONSTITUTION:Two inputs V (2n-1) and V (2n) are compared with each other in (n) voltage comparing circuit (n>=2) and their outputs are inputted to MOS TRs Q1-Qn. When TRs Q1-Qn are of the enhancement type, an OR output circuit 11 is a multiple-input source follower. The gain of the source follower is less than 1 and it has the best frequency characteristics, so frequency characteristics in terms of an OR output are nearly equal to those of an initial-stage voltage comparing circuit. Consequently, the OR output of each voltage comparing circuit is obtained at a high speed without deteriorating the frequency characteristics.
