Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a jitter-free output by cascading three stages of circuits each consisting of a comparator part and a latch part. CONSTITUTION:An input voltage V0 applied to a terminal 26 is compared with a reference voltage Vref, applied to a terminal 27, by a comparator part C1 composed of transistors (TR) Q5 and Q6, and the comparison result is held by a latch part L1 composed of TRs Q10 and Q11. Outputs (a) and (b) of the latch part L1 are compared mutually by a comparator part C2 composed of TRs Q12 and Q13 and the comparison result is held by a latch part L2 composed of TRs Q17 and Q18. Outputs (c) and (d) of the latch part L2 are compared mutually by a comparator part c3 composed of TRs Q28 and Q29, and the comparison result is held by a latch part composed of Trs Q33-Q36.
