PURPOSE:To minimize the number of pins for circuit integration, by providing a time constant circuit consisting of a capacitor and resistors at the signal input section. CONSTITUTION:A video signal 21 is fed to a pin 22 via a time constant circuit for synchronizing signal separation consisting of a capacitor C1 and resistors R1, R2. Thus, the synchronizing separation output is generated across a resistor R4 of the collector of a transistor Q1 the emitter of which is connected to the pin 22. The synchronizing separation output is input to the base of a transistor Q6, that is one input terminal of the comparator consisting of transistors Q6-Q8 via the level shifter consisting of transistors Q4, Q5.
