Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a soldered Al structure contg. Mn<=0.3wt% and Cu<=0.5wt% as essential components and a specified amt. of Cr, Zr, Ti, Al, etc. and capable of considerably improving the corrosion resistance. CONSTITUTION:The soldered Al structure contains, by wt., Mn<=0.3% and Cu<= 0.5% as essential components, at least one of Zr, Cr and Ti 0.05-0.3% and inevitable impurities. By reducing the Mn content of the structure the intergranular corrosion sensibility is lowered, and at least one of Zr, Cr and Ti added in the predetermined range enhances the diffusion resistance.
