Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.a)第一の触媒の反応器への導入を停止する工程、 b)奪活剤を、反応器における第一の触媒の総金属グラム原子に基づいて約1 モル当量より多い量、反応器に導入しそして分散させる工程、 c)反応器をパージする工程及び d)掃去剤の不存在下で第二の触媒を反応器に導入する工程 を含む、第一触媒により触媒作用を受ける重合反応から、メタロセン触媒を含 む第二の触媒により触媒作用を受ける重合反応へ移行する方法であり、第一の触 媒と第二の触媒は非相溶性である、方法。 2.a)第一の触媒の反応器への導入を停止する工程、 b)奪活剤を、反応器における第一の触媒の総金属グラム原子に基づいて約1 モル当量より多い量、反応器に導入しそして分散させる工程、 c)奪活剤の残存する反応器をパージする工程及び d)掃去剤の不存在下で第二の触媒を反応器に導入する工程 を含む、遷移金属ハライド及び、1、2又は3族の有機金属化合物を含むチー グラ・ナッタ型触媒である第一触媒により触媒作用を受けるオレフィン連続性重 合反応から、メタロセン成分及び活性剤を含むメタロセン型触媒である第二の触 媒により触媒作用を受ける重合反応へ変換する方法。 3.第一の触媒が伝統的なチーグラ・ナッタ触媒を含む、請求項1に記載の方法 。 4.奪活剤の量が、反応器内の第一の触媒の総金属グラム原子に基づいて約2モ ル当量よりも多い、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1請求項に記載の方法。 5.重合反応が気相法である、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1請求項に記載の方法 。 6.掃去剤が、AlR(3-a)Xa(式中、Rは、分枝鎖又は直鎖の、1乃至30の炭 素原子を有するアルキル、シクロアルキル又はヒドリド基であり、xがハロゲン であり、aは0、1又は2である)で表わされる有機金属化合物である、請求項 1乃至5のいずれか1請求項に記載の方法。 7.奪活剤が二酸化炭素である、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1請求項に記載の方 法。 8.反応器における第一の触媒の総金属及び活性剤及び掃去剤に対する奪活剤の モル比は、1より大きく約1,000 までの範囲である、請求項1乃至7のいずれか 1請求項に記載の方法。 9.重合が流動床反応器において行われる、請求項1乃至8のいずれか1請求項 に記載の方法。 10.奪活剤が有機金属化合物に対して反応性であり、カルボン酸官能基を有する 少なくとも1つの化合物を生成する、請求項6乃至9のいずれか1請求項に記載 の方法。 11.同じ反応性条件下で第二の触媒の存在下で、第一触媒が第二触媒の活性度を 50%より多く低減させる、請求項1乃至10のいずれか1請求項に記載の方法。
