- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.アクリレートモノマー、開始剤およびジアクリレートをポリオレフィン粒子 中に吸収させ、その後温度を上昇させ、アクリレートがポリオレフィン中で重合 して分散相を形成することによって製造される熱可塑性エラストマーにおいて、 アクリレートモノマーに官能基を有するモノマーを添加することによってアクリ レート相に官能基を導入し、官能基を有するポリオレフィンを前記ポリオレフィ ン相と予めブレンドするか、または重合後に得られたエラストマーとブレンドす ることを特徴とすること。 2.前記ポリオレフィンマトリクスが、押出機または他の溶融ブレンド装置で予 め溶融ブレンドされた2種以上のポリオレフィンのブレンドからなることを特徴 とする請求項1に記載の熱可塑性エラストマー。 3.アクリレートモノマーに添加される前記官能基を有するモノマーが、カルボ ン酸、オキサゾリン、エポキシ基、アミノ基、またはヒドロキシ基を有する(メ タ)アクリレートであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の熱可塑性エラストマ ー。 4.前記官能基を有するモノマーの量が、前記アクリレートモノマーの量に対し て 0.1〜15重量%、好ましくは 0.5〜10重量%であることを特徴とする請求項1 または3に記載の熱可塑性エラストマー。 5.グラフトされたポリオレフィンの官能基がカルボン酸もしくはその無水物、 または他のカルボン酸の誘導体であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の熱可塑 性エラストマー。 6.エラストマー中の前記グラフトされたポリオレフィンの量が 0.1〜15重量% 、好ましくは 0.5〜10重量%であることを特徴とする請求項1または5に記載の 熱 可塑性エラストマー。 7.独立の加硫段階を必要としない場合に、重合中にジアクリレートもしくは多 官能性アクリレートと前記アクリレートとを共重合することによってポリアクリ レートを架橋すること、または前記アクリレートが自然に架橋することを特徴と する、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性エラストマー。 8.前記ポリアクリレートが室温よりも低い、好ましくは、−20℃よりも低いガ ラス転移温度を有することを特徴とする、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載の熱 可塑性エラストマー。 9.ポリアクリレートとなるモノマーが、1以上、好ましくは2以上の炭素原子 をアルキル鎖中に有するアルキルアクリレート、または4以上、好ましくは8以 上の炭素原子をアルキル鎖中に有するアルキルメタクリレートであって、アルキ ルアクリレートおよびアルキルメタクリレートが、例えば、アルコキシ基および 水酸基のような極性基を有することを特徴とする、先行する請求項のいずれかに 記載の熱可塑性エラストマー。 10.前記ポリオレフィンがポリプロピレン、コモノマーを含有するポリプロピレ ン、ポリエチレン、もしくはコモノマーを含有するポリエチレン、またはそれら の混合物であることを特徴とする、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性 エラストマー。 11.前記ブレンド中のポリオレフィンとポリアクリレートの重量割合が 0.1〜5 であることを特徴とする、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性エラスト マー。 12.得られた材料をより柔軟にするために、重合中、または別の押出段階中に0 〜40重量%のオイルを添加することを特徴とする、先行する請求項のいずれかに 記載の熱可塑性エラストマー。 13.最終製造物が0〜70重量%の充填材を含有することを特徴とする、先行する 請求項のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性エラストマー。 14.最終製造物が同時にオイルと充填材との両方を含有することを特徴とする、 先行する請求項のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性エラストマー。 15.最終製造物が押出、射出成形、ブロー成形およびポリオレフィンとの共押出 のような従来の加工方法によって加工されることを特徴とする、先行する請求項 のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性エラストマー。 16.最終製造物が優れた耐油性および耐候性を有することを特徴とする、先行す る請求項のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性エラストマー。 17.建設産業、電気産業、並びに他の熱可塑性エラストマーおよび従来のゴムが 使用されている、例えば、ハンドルおよび他の応用のような機械部品として、請 求項1〜16に記載の熱可塑性エラストマーを使用すること。
