【発明の詳細な説明】 2つの包装材ウエブを接続するための装置 従来の技術 本発明は、例えばヨーロッパ公開特許第0432126号明細書により公知で あるような、請求項1の上位概念に記載した、2つの包装材ウエブ(帯状の包装 材)を接続するための装置から出発している。このような形式の装置は特に、熱 可塑性材料より成る、錠剤、糖衣錠又はこれと類似のものを収容するためのポケ ット状凹部を備えたプラスチックウエブをカバーシート材にヒートシールするた めに使用される。公知の装置においては、ヒートシールしようとする2つのシー ト材ウエブは、加熱及びヒートシールローラの間の侵入領域に作用する加熱ブロ ーによって予加熱される。 実際の使用によれば、このような形式の予加熱装置は、充分満足に作業しない 、つまり気密なヒートシールが保証されないということが分かった。これは特に 、処理が困難なカバーシート材においてそうである。処理が困難なカバーシート 材とは、例えば特に良好に再使用可能なカバーシート材、又は特別な機能的特性 を有するカバーシート材のことである。このようなカバーシート材は、特に、一 方ではプラスチックウエブに気密に接続され、他方ではプラスチックウエブから カバーシート材を手によって簡単に剥き取ることができるいわゆる「ピールオフ 式“Peel-Off”カバーシート材」のことである。 発明の利点 これに対して、請求項1又は5に記載した特徴を有する、2つの包装材ウエブ を接続するための本発明による装置は、処理するのが困難であるカバーシート材 もしっかりと確実に処理することができるので、プラスチックウエブとの常に気 密なヒートシールが得られるという利点を有している。 2つの包装材ウエブを接続するための本発明による装置の別の利点及び有利な 変化実施例は、従属請求項及び以下の説明に記載されている。 図面 本発明の2つの実施例が図面に示されていて、以下に詳しく説明されている。 図1は、2つの包装材ウエブを接続するための装置の、2つの作業段階中におけ る概略的な縦断面図、図2は、図1の実施例とは異なる実施例の、同様に縦断面 図である。 実施例の説明 2つの包装材ウエブ11,12を接続するための装置10は、軸13を中心に して旋回可能な加熱ローラ15と、この加熱ローラ15と協働する、駆動される ヒートシールローラ16とを有している。2つのローラ15,16の接触領域1 7内では、底部シート材1 1及びカバーシート材12として記載された2つの包装材ウエブが、熱及び圧力 の影響を受けて公知の形式で互いに接続若しくは溶接される。 熱可塑性の材料より成る底部シート材11には、前もって存在する図示してい ない第1のステーションでポケット状凹部18が成形され、次いで第2のステー ションでこのポケット状凹部18内に、例えば錠剤が満たされる。底部シート材 12を搬送するために、ヒートシールローラ16はその外周面で、ポケット状凹 部18に合致する切欠19を有している。カバーシート12は例えばアルミニウ ム又はプラスチック材料例えばポリプロピレンより成っている。 カバーシート材12を必要な熱融着(ヒートシール)温度に加熱するために、 加熱ローラ15の他に、加熱ローラ15と協働する予加熱装置20が使用される 。予加熱装置20は、カバーシート材12の下側若しくは上側22,23に対し てわずかな間隔を保って、この下側及び上側に合致して配置された2つの加熱プ レート24,25を有している。上側23に作用する加熱プレート25は有利な 形式で、軸13を中心にして離反旋回させるために加熱ローラ15に接続されて いる。加熱ローラ15及び加熱プレート25の離反旋回せしめられた位置は、図 1に一点鎖線で示されている。カバーシート材12の上側23をできるだけ均一 に加熱するために、加熱ローラ15に向けられた、加 熱プレート25の端面は、加熱ローラ15に形状接続式に合致しているので、加 熱プレート25と加熱ローラ15との間には殆どギャップは存在していない。カ バーシート材12の下側22に向けられた加熱プレート24は、カバーシート材 12が加熱ローラ15に当接する高さ位置にほぼ達する。ヒートシールローラ1 6に向けられた、加熱プレート24の端部28には、予加熱部材として構成され た、別個に加熱可能な楔状加熱部材30が直接接続されており、この楔状加熱部 材30は、2つのローラ15,16の接触領域17内にほぼ達している。 楔状加熱部材30は、加熱プレート24とほぼ同じ厚さを有していて、加熱プ レート24に接続されている。製造中断中に、加熱プレート24と楔状加熱部材 30とは一緒に、加熱ローラ15若しくはヒートシールローラ16から離反する (離れる)方向に旋回可能であって、これによって、底部シート材11若しくは カバーシート材12に対して、これらのシート材がもはや加熱されない程度の大 きい間隔が得られる。ここでも、加熱プレート24及び楔状加熱部材30の離反 旋回された位置は、図1に一点鎖線で示されてている。 カバーシート材12若しくは底部シート材11に向けられた、楔状加熱部材3 0の加熱面32,33は、付着防止コーティングされていて、加熱ローラ15若 しくはヒートシールローラ16の形状に応じてそれぞれ凹状に形成されているの で、カバーシート材12若しくはヒートシール材11に対してそれぞれ一定の間 隔が調節されており、この間隔は、カバーシート材12の下側22に対する加熱 プレート24の間隔よりも大きい。 底部シート材11を大きい面に亙って予加熱することもできるようにするため に、変化形状においては、一点鎖線で示された楔状加熱部材30aは、底部シー ト材11の上側34に対して平行に延長されている。 2つの包装材ウエブ11,12を接続するための上記装置10は、次のように 作用する。加熱ローラ15並びに加熱プレート24,25及び楔状加熱部材30 若しくは30aの加熱は、互いに別個に調節可能である。一般的に、楔状加熱部 材30若しくは30aは、カバーシート材12の溶融点に近いか又はこれよりも 高い最大温度に調節されている。カバーシート材12からの楔状加熱部材30若 しくは30aの間隔によって、カバーシート材12がこの温度にならないように 保証される。これに対して、予加熱部材として使用される2つの加熱プレート2 4,25は、最小の温度を有している。2つの包装材ウエブ11,12を接続す るために、ヒートシールローラ16は、有利には連続的に駆動され、この場合、 底部シート材11の前送りは、ポケット状凹部18がヒートシールローラ16の 切欠19内に形状接続式(形状による束縛)に当接することによって得られる。 次いで、2つの加熱プレート24,25及び楔状加熱部材30若しくは30aに よって予加熱されたカバーシート材12はその下側22が、加熱ローラ15によ る熱及び圧力によって底部シート材11の上側にヒートシールされる。楔状加熱 部材30若しくは30aによって、カバーシート材12の下側22が送り方向で 見て加熱ローラ15に向かって次第に集中的に加熱されるので、特に良好なヒー トシールが得られる。特に、楔状加熱部材30aの、底部シート材11の上側3 4に対して平行に延びる加熱面33aによって、底部シート材11も予加熱され るので、2つの包装材ウエブ11,12の最適な接続が得られ、この場合、底部 シート材11とカバーシート材12との間の熱負荷が小さく維持される。 図2に示した実施例においては、予加熱装置20が省略されている。その代わ り、加熱ローラ15だけでなく、ヒートシールローラ16aも加熱可能に構成さ れている。これによって温度を、底部シート材11及び充填材料に合わせること ができるので、底部シート材11若しくは充填材料の損傷は避けることができる 。加熱されたヒートシールローラ16aによって、付加的に熱エネルギーを底部 シート材11に伝達することができ。これは、良好なヒートシールのために有効 である。付加的に、加熱ローラ15には付加的な変向 ローラ35が連結されている。加熱ローラ15に対する変向ローラ35の位置を 介して、加熱ローラ15に対するカバーシート材12の巻掛け角度αを変えるこ とができる。この巻掛け角度αが大きければ大きい程、所定の熱量をカバーシー ト材12に引き渡すために、加熱ローラ15の温度を低く調節することができる 。他方、加熱ローラ15の所定の温度において、より大きい巻掛け角度に応じて 特に大きい熱量をカバーシート材12に伝達することができる。実際には、加熱 ローラ15は、一定に調節された所定の温度を有している。巻掛け角度αを相応 に調節することによって、必要な熱エネルギーをカバーシート材12に確実に伝 達することができる。 第1実施例による装置に、同様に加熱可能なヒートシールローラ16を備える ことも可能であるということを、補足的に述べておく。これによって2つの実施 例の利点を互いにプラスすることができる。しかも、底部シート材11の材料を 相応に選択すれば、楔状加熱部材30若しくは30aの加熱面33、33aの接 着防止コーティングを省略することができる。また、装置10の使用を、図示の 実施例で記載されたブリスターウエブ(blisterbahn)だけに限定されるものでは なく、基本的に、互いに接続しようとする包装材ウエブに転用することができる 。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1.熱及び圧力の作用下で、第1の包装材ウエブ(12)を第2の包装材ウエ ブ(11)にヒートシールための装置であって、第1の包装材ウエブ(12)に 働く加熱ローラ(15)と、該加熱ローラ(15)と協働するヒートシールロー ラ(16)と、これら2つのローラ(15,16)の接触領域(17)に作用す る第1の予加熱装置(30,30a)とを有している形式のものにおいて、 第1の包装材ウエブ(12)に配属された第2の予加熱装置(20)が設けら れており、第1の予加熱装置(30,30a)の温度と第2の予加熱装置(20 )の温度とがそれぞれ別個に調節可能であることを特徴とする、2つの包装材ウ エブを接続するための装置。 2.第1の予加熱装置(30,30a)が、第2の包装材ウエブ(11)の上 側(34)の領域内で延長可能に構成されている、請求項1記載の装置。 3.第1の包装材ウエブ(12)の下側(22)に向けられた、第1の予加熱 装置(30,30a)の面(32)が、第1の包装材ウエブ(12)の下側(2 2)に対して、第2の予加熱装置(20)の相応の面よりも大きい間隔を有して いる、請求項1又は2記載の装置。 4.第1の予加熱装置(30,30a)が、第2の予加熱装置(20)の一部 (24)と協働して、2つの包装材ウエブ(11,12)から離反旋回可能に構 成されている、請求項1から3までのいづれか1項記載の装置。 5.第1の包装材ウエブ(12)を熱及び圧力の作用下で第2の包装材ウエブ (11)にヒートシールするための装置(10)であって、第1の包装材ウエブ (12)に作用する加熱ローラ(15)と、該加熱ローラ(15)と協働するヒ ートシールローラ(16a)と、これら2つのローラ(15,16a)に作用す る第1の予加熱装置(30,30a)とを有している形式のものにおいて、 第1の包装材ウエブ(12)が、位置移動可能なローラ(35)上をガイドさ れ、加熱ローラ(15)に対する、ローラ(35)の位置に応じて、加熱ローラ (15)に対する第1の包装材ウエブ(12)の相応の巻掛け角度(α)が調節 されるようになっていることを特徴とする、第1の包装材ウエブを熱及び圧力の 作用下で第2の包装材ウエブにヒートシールするための装置。 6.ヒートシールローラ(16,16a)が加熱可能に構成されている、請求 項1から5までのいづれか1項記載の装置。 7.予加熱装置(30,30a)が、少なくとも第 1の包装材ウエブ(12)に向けられた面(32)で、第1の包装材ウエブ(1 2)の溶融温度とほぼ同じか又はこれを越える温度を有している、請求項1から 6までのいづれか1項記載の装置。 8.第1の包装材ウエブがカバーシート材(12)であって、第2の包装材ウ エブが、切欠(19)を備えた底部シート材(11)である、請求項1から7ま でのいづれか1項記載の装置。
