Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】ロアレールにその開口部を塞ぐカバーを固定し
たスライドレールにおいて、ロアレールにスライド自在
に嵌合するアッパーレールのスライド性を向上させるこ
とである。 【構成】ロアレール（１）の開口部（１１）を塞ぐカバ
ー（３）（４）に、鋸歯状のスライド部（３０）（４
０）を設け、該スライド部（３０）（４０）がアッパー
レール（２）に当接するようにした事を特徴とする。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は自動車用シート（座
席）などの車両用シートにおける前後位置調節用スライ
ドレール、詳しくは、車床側に固定したスライドレール
のロアレールに設けたアッパーレールのスライド用開口
部を塞ぐ柔軟弾性材製カバーに関する。

【従来の技術】従来のスライドレールは、シートを載置
するアッパーレールと、このアッパーレールを上面部に
設けた開口部に沿ってスライド自在に嵌合し車床側に固
定するロアレールと、このロアレールの上面部外面に固
定して前記開口部を塞ぎアッパーレールを挿通するスリ
ットを有する柔軟弾性材製のカバーとからなるものがあ
る。
【０００３】以上のカバーによって、開口部からロアレ
ール内への塵、ゴミの浸入を防止すると共にスライドレ
ールの外観品質を向上させている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】ところで、アッパーレ
ールはカバーに設けたスリットよりロアレール内にスラ
イド自在に嵌合し、カバーはアッパーレールの起立状壁
面に当接している。
【０００５】そのため、アッパーレールが前後にスライ
ドする際、常にカバーがアッパーレールに当接している
ため、アッパーレールのスライド性がカバーの摩擦抵抗
により損なわれる不具合があった。
【０００６】また、カバーはアッパーレールのスライド
に伴う摺接により、ヘタリ、端縁が蛇行など変形する虞
れもあった。
【０００７】そこで、本発明は斯様なロアレールの開口
部を塞ぐ柔軟弾性製のカバーの不具合を除去することを
目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】以上の目的を達成するた
めの本発明に係るスライドレールは、前記カバーのロア
レールの開口部に臨む内面に、アッパーレールのスライ
ド方向に向けて多数の鋸歯状のスライド部を設けて、ア
ッパーレールに対する摩擦抵抗を少なくしている。

【発明の実施の形態】本発明の実施の一形態を図面に基
づいて説明する。図１は本発明に係るスライドレールを
示し、図中（１）は車床（６）の凹溝に埋設して固定し
たロアレールで、開口部（１１）を上面部（１０）（１
０）に有する断面略チャンネル形状に成形されている。
【００１０】このロアレール（１）の開口部（１１）
は、図２に示すように、上面部（１０）（１０）に固定
したスリット（５）を有するカバー（３）（４）によっ
て塞がれている。
【００１１】図中（２）はロアレール（１）にスライド
自在に嵌合するアッパーレールで、このアッパーレール
（２）にシートが載置又は固定され、前後に設けた左右
一対のローラ（２０）（２０）が図３に示すようにロア
レール（１）内に嵌合している。
【００１２】前記カバー（３）（４）は柔軟弾性を有す
る合成樹脂材で、図２に示すように開口部（１１）に臨
む内面には多数の鋸歯状のスライド部（３０）（４０）
が、また、スリット（５）の端縁には肉厚状の玉縁部
（３１）（４１）が各々一体成形されている。
【００１３】前記スライド部（３０）（４０）、玉縁部
（３１）（４１）は図４に示すように、アッパーレール
（２）のスライド方向であるカバー（３）（４）の長手
方向に向けて成形されている。
【００１４】斯して、カバー（３）（４）は図３に示す
ようにアッパーレール（２）に対して玉縁部（３１）
（４１）内面からスライド部（３０）（４０）が当接す
る。この当接状態において、スライド部（３０）（４
０）は鋸歯状の突条部分がアッパーレール（２）に接触
するのみであるため、アッパーレール（２）のカバー
（３）（４）に対する摩擦抵抗が少ない。
【００１５】また、アッパーレール（２）の当接前後の
カバー（３）（４）は、図２に示すような状態に弾性で
保持される。

【発明の効果】本発明によれば、カバーの内面でアッパ
ーレールに当接する部分に鋸歯状のスライド部をアッパ
ーレールのスライド方向に設けているため、カバーがア
ッパーレールに対して線接触し、アッパーレールのスラ
イド時の摩擦抵抗を減少させることができる。
【００１７】そのため、アッパーレールのスライド性が
良好になると共にカバーの変形を防止でき、カバーの耐
久性を向上し得る。
【００１８】加えて、スリットの端縁に肉厚状の玉縁部
を設けているため、カバーの剛性が向上し、カバーの変
形をより一層防止することができる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 シートを載置するアッパーレールと、こ
    のアッパーレールを上面部に設けた開口部に沿ってスラ
    イド自在に嵌合し車床側に固定するロアレールと、この
    ロアレールの上面部外面に固定して前記開口部を塞ぎア
    ッパーレールを挿通するスリットを有する柔軟弾性材製
    のカバーとからなるスライドレールにおいて、 前記カバーのロアレールの開口部に臨む内面に、アッパ
    ーレールのスライド方向に向けて多数の鋸歯状のスライ
    ド部を設けてなるスライドレール。
  2. 【請求項２】 前記カバーにおけるスリットの端縁には
    肉厚状の玉縁部をスリットに沿って設けてなる請求項１
    記載のスライドレール。
