閉塞用キャップの製造方法を提供する。 【構成】 熱可塑性樹脂により被覆された電熱線2をこ
の電熱線を被覆する熱可塑性樹脂と熱溶着できる円筒状
の熱可塑性樹脂製芯材1に螺旋状に巻き付ける工程、電
熱線2の両端に通電用のターミナルピン21を接合する
工程、円筒状に巻き付けられた電熱線2及びターミナル
ピン21を射出成形金型のキャビティ内に固定し、射出
成形により円筒状の芯材1に巻き付けられた電熱線2の
内側に熱可塑性樹脂を射出して円筒状の芯材1の内側に
管路閉塞用キャップ本体3を成形し、冷却固化する工
程、円筒状の芯材1の内側に管路閉塞用キャップ本体3
が設けられたものを射出成形金型から取り出した後、固
定治具4内に挿入して固定し、電熱線2に通電すること
により電熱線2に被覆された熱可塑性樹脂と熱可塑性樹
脂製芯材1とを溶着させる工程とからなる。

【発明の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、上下水管或いはガス管
としての使用を停止した管の管路を閉塞するために使用
して好適な管路閉塞用キャップの製造方法に関する。

【従来の技術】従来、例えば、特開平6−207698
号公報に記載されているように、上下水管或いはガス管
としての使用を停止した管の管路を閉塞するために使用
する管路閉塞用キャップが知られている。
【0003】このような管路閉塞用キャップは、一端が
閉塞された熱可塑性樹脂製円筒体の外周面に発熱体であ
る電熱線が埋設され、通電用ターミナルピンが設けられ
たものである。このような管路閉塞用キャップの製造方
法としては、円筒状の熱可塑性樹脂製芯材に同種の熱可
塑性樹脂で被覆した電熱線を螺旋状に巻き付け、円筒状
の芯材の内面を加熱することにより芯材と電熱線の被覆
樹脂とを溶着させ、電熱線の両端にターミナルピンを取
付けた後、電熱線を巻き付けた芯材を射出成形金型のキ
ャビティ内に挿入し、射出成形により芯材の内方に熱可
塑性樹脂を射出成形していた。

態が不均一となり易く、加熱状態が不均一となると冷却
時の収縮量に差が生じ、電熱線が巻き付けられた芯材の
外面に凹凸が生じ電熱線に凹凸や疎密が生じて良好な製
品が得られない。
【0005】本発明は従来の上記の問題点に着目しなさ
れたものであって、その目的とするところは、上記の問
題点を解消し、電熱線に凹凸や疎密が生じる恐れのない
管路閉塞用キャップの製造方法を提供するにある。
【0006】
【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的を達成するため
に、請求項1記載の本発明管路閉塞用キャップの製造方
法は、一端が閉塞された熱可塑性樹脂製円筒体の外周面
に発熱体である電熱線が埋設され、通電用ターミナルピ
ンが設けられた管路閉塞用キャップの製造方法におい
て、熱可塑性樹脂により被覆された電熱線をこの電熱線
を被覆する熱可塑性樹脂と熱溶着できる円筒状の熱可塑
性樹脂製芯材に螺旋状に巻き付ける工程、電熱線の両端
に通電用のターミナルピンを接合する工程、円筒状に巻
き付けられた電熱線及びターミナルピンを射出成形金型
のキャビティ内に固定し、射出成形により円筒状の芯材
に巻き付けられた電熱線の内側に熱可塑性樹脂を射出し
て円筒状の芯材の内側に管路閉塞用キャップ本体を成形
し、冷却固化する工程、円筒状の芯材の内側に管路閉塞
用キャップ本体が設けられたものを射出成形金型から取
り出した後、固定用治具内に挿入して固定し、電熱線に
通電することにより電熱線に被覆された熱可塑性樹脂と
熱可塑性樹脂製芯材とを溶着させる工程とからなること
を特徴とするものである。
【0007】又、請求項2記載の本発明管路閉塞用キャ
ップの製造方法は、一端が閉塞された熱可塑性樹脂製円
筒体の外周面に発熱体である電熱線が埋設され、通電用
ターミナルピンが設けられた管路閉塞用キャップの製造
方法において、熱可塑性樹脂により被覆された電熱線を
この電熱線を被覆する熱可塑性樹脂と熱溶着できる円筒
状の熱可塑性樹脂製芯材に螺旋状に巻き付ける工程、電
熱線の両端に通電用のターミナルピンを接合する工程、
円筒状に巻き付けられた電熱線及びターミナルピンを射
出成形金型のキャビティ内に固定し、射出成形により円
筒状の芯材に巻き付けられた電熱線の内側に熱可塑性樹
脂を射出して円筒状の芯材の内側に管路閉塞用キャップ
本体を成形し、冷却固化する工程、円筒状の芯材の内側
に管路閉塞用キャップ本体が設けられたものを射出成形
金型から取り出した後、固定用治具内に挿入して固定
し、高周波誘電加熱により電熱線を加熱し電熱線に被覆
された熱可塑性樹脂と熱可塑性樹脂製芯材とを溶着させ
る工程とからなることを特徴とするものである。
【0008】本発明において、円筒体、及び芯材の熱可
塑性樹脂や、電熱線の被覆熱可塑性樹脂としては、特に
限定されるものではないが、例えば、ポリエチレン、ポ
リプロピレン、塩化ビニル樹脂等の汎用熱可塑性樹脂や
ポリフッ化ビニリデン、ポリフェニレンサルファイド等
の熱可塑性エンジニアリングプラスチックが使用でき
る。尚、芯材の熱可塑性樹脂と電熱線の被覆熱可塑性樹
脂とは同一の熱可塑性樹脂が使用されることが望ましい
が、加熱により相互に溶着できるものであれば異なった
ものであってもよい。又、円筒体の熱可塑性樹脂と芯材
の熱可塑性樹脂とは同一の熱可塑性樹脂もしくは相互に
熱溶着される熱可塑性樹脂が使用されることが望まし
い。
【0009】又、請求項1記載の発明においては、電熱
線の材質としては、特に限定されるものではないが、例
えば、ニクロム線、銅−ニッケル合金線や炭素繊維等の
通電により発熱するものが使用できる。
【0010】又、請求項2記載の発明においては、電熱
線の材質としては、特に限定されるものではないが、例
えば、ニクロム線、銅−ニッケル合金線や炭素繊維等の
高周波電流により発熱するものが使用できる。

【作用】請求項1記載の本発明管路閉塞用キャップの製
造方法においては、熱可塑性樹脂製円筒体の熱可塑性樹
脂と熱溶着できる熱可塑性樹脂により被覆された電熱線
を円筒状の熱可塑性樹脂製芯材に螺旋状に巻き付ける工
程、電熱線の両端に通電用のターミナルピンを接合する
工程、円筒状に巻き付けられた電熱線及びターミナルピ
ンを射出成形金型のキャビティ内に固定し、射出成形に
より円筒状の芯材に巻き付けられた電熱線の内側に熱可
塑性樹脂を充填して円筒状の芯材の内側に管路閉塞用キ
ャップ本体を成形し、冷却固化する工程、円筒状の芯材
の内側に管路閉塞用キャップ本体が設けられたものを射
出成形金型から取り出した後、固定治具内に挿入して固
定し、電熱線に通電することにより電熱線に被覆された
熱可塑性樹脂と熱可塑性樹脂製芯材とを溶着させる工程
とからなるものであって、電熱線に通電することにより
電熱線に被覆された熱可塑性樹脂と熱可塑性樹脂製芯材
とを溶着させる工程においては、円筒状の芯材の内側に
管路閉塞用キャップ本体が設けられたものを固定用治具
内に挿入して固定するものであるから、電熱線に凹凸が
生じたり疎密が生じたりする恐れはない。
【0012】又、請求項2記載の本発明管路閉塞用キャ
ップの製造方法においては、熱可塑性樹脂製円筒体の熱
可塑性樹脂と熱溶着できる熱可塑性樹脂により被覆され
た電熱線を円筒状の熱可塑性樹脂製芯材に螺旋状に巻き
付ける工程、電熱線の両端に通電用のターミナルピンを
接合する工程、円筒状に巻き付けられた電熱線及びター
ミナルピンを射出成形金型のキャビティ内に固定し、射
出成形により円筒状の芯材に巻き付けられた電熱線の内
側に熱可塑性樹脂を充填して円筒状の芯材の内側に管路
閉塞用キャップ本体を成形し、冷却固化する工程、円筒
状の芯材の内側に管路閉塞用キャップ本体が設けられた
ものを射出成形金型から取り出した後、固定治具内に挿
入して固定し、高周波誘電加熱により電熱線を加熱し電
熱線に被覆された熱可塑性樹脂と熱可塑性樹脂製芯材と
を溶着させる工程とからなるものであって、高周波誘電
加熱により電熱線を加熱することにより電熱線に被覆さ
れた熱可塑性樹脂と熱可塑性樹脂製芯材とを溶着させる
工程においては、円筒状の芯材の内側に管路閉塞用キャ
ップ本体が設けられたものを固定用治具内に挿入して固
定するものであるから、電熱線に凹凸が生じたり疎密が
生じたりする恐れはない。

【実施例】次に、本発明の実施例を図面を参照しながら
説明する。 〔実施例1:請求項1記載の発明の実施例〕本発明にお
いては、先ず、図1に示すように、ポリエチレン製円筒
状芯材1にポリエチレン被覆電熱線2を螺旋状に巻き付
ける。この巻き付けの際に芯材1の内部に他の芯材(図
示しない)を嵌合して芯材1を補強してもよい。
【0014】次に、図2に示すように、電熱線2の両端
部にターミナルピン21を接合し、これを図示しない射
出成形金型のキャビティ内に挿入し、芯材1の内部にポ
リエチレン製本体3を成形し、冷却固化して射出成形金
型のキャビティ内から取り出す。22はターミナルピン
21に接合された電線である。
【0015】このように芯材1の内部にポリエチレン製
本体3が成形されたものを、容器状固定用治具4の空洞
部41内に挿入する。固定用治具4の空洞部41は開口
部の口径は大きく奥部に入るに従い口径は縮小されるよ
うになっているので、固定用治具4の空洞部41内に挿
入された芯材1の内部にポリエチレン製本体3が成形さ
れたものは空洞41の壁面に密接し、固定される。。次
いで、電線22を電源に接続して電熱線2に通電するこ
とにより電熱線2を発熱させ、その熱により電熱線2を
被覆するポリエチレン及び芯材1とを溶着一体化する。
【0016】〔実施例の作用〕芯材1の内部にポリエチ
レン製本体3が成形されたものは図3に示すように、固
定用治具4の空洞部41内に挿入固定して電熱線2に通
電することにより電熱線2を発熱させ、その熱により電
熱線2を被覆するポリエチレン及び芯材1とを溶着一体
化するものであるから、電熱線2には凹凸や疎密が生じ
る恐れはない。
【0017】〔実施例2:請求項2記載の発明の実施
例〕図4は本発明の他の実施態様を示す断面図である。
図4に示す本発明においては、誘導コイル5に高周波電
流を流すことにより電熱線2を誘電加熱し、その熱によ
り電熱線2を被覆するポリエチレン及び芯材1とを溶着
一体化するものである。
【0018】以上、本発明の実施例を図により説明した
が、本発明の構成は図示の実施例に限定されるものでは
なく、本発明の要旨を逸脱しない設計変更は本発明に含
まれる。例えば、固定用治具は図示の実施例のように容
器状のものを使用する代わりに管状のものを使用しても
よい。

【発明の効果】請求項1、2記載の本発明管路閉塞用キ
ャップの製造方法においては、円筒状の芯材の内側に管
路閉塞用キャップ本体が設けられたものを固定治具内に
挿入して固定するものであるから、電熱線に凹凸が生じ
たり疎密が生じたりする恐れはなく、品質の優れた管路
閉塞用キャップを製造することができる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 一端が閉塞された熱可塑性樹脂製円筒体
    の外周面に発熱体である電熱線が埋設され、通電用ター
    ミナルピンが設けられた管路閉塞用キャップの製造方法
    において、熱可塑性樹脂により被覆された電熱線をこの
    電熱線を被覆する熱可塑性樹脂と熱溶着できる円筒状の
    熱可塑性樹脂製芯材に螺旋状に巻き付ける工程、電熱線
    の両端に通電用のターミナルピンを接合する工程、円筒
    状に巻き付けられた電熱線及びターミナルピンを射出成
    形金型のキャビティ内に固定し、射出成形により円筒状
    の芯材に巻き付けられた電熱線の内側に熱可塑性樹脂を
    射出して円筒状の芯材の内側に管路閉塞用キャップ本体
    を成形し、冷却固化する工程、円筒状の芯材の内側に管
    路閉塞用キャップ本体が設けられたものを射出成形金型
    から取り出した後、固定用治具内に挿入して固定し、電
    熱線に通電することにより電熱線に被覆された熱可塑性
    樹脂と熱可塑性樹脂製芯材とを溶着させる工程とからな
    ることを特徴とする管路閉塞用キャップの製造方法。
  2. 【請求項2】 一端が閉塞された熱可塑性樹脂製円筒体
    の外周面に発熱体である電熱線が埋設され、通電用ター
    ミナルピンが設けられた管路閉塞用キャップの製造方法
    において、熱可塑性樹脂により被覆された電熱線をこの
    電熱線を被覆する熱可塑性樹脂と熱溶着できる円筒状の
    熱可塑性樹脂製芯材に螺旋状に巻き付ける工程、電熱線
    の両端に通電用のターミナルピンを接合する工程、円筒
    状に巻き付けられた電熱線及びターミナルピンを射出成
    形金型のキャビティ内に固定し、射出成形により円筒状
    の芯材に巻き付けられた電熱線の内側に熱可塑性樹脂を
    射出して円筒状の芯材の内側に管路閉塞用キャップ本体
    を成形し、冷却固化する工程、円筒状の芯材の内側に管
    路閉塞用キャップ本体が設けられたものを射出成形金型
    から取り出した後、固定用治具内に挿入して固定し、高
    周波誘電加熱により電熱線を加熱し電熱線に被覆された
    熱可塑性樹脂と熱可塑性樹脂製芯材とを溶着させる工程
    とからなることを特徴とする管路閉塞用キャップの製造
    方法。
