(57)【要約】 【目的】ユーザーが写真フイルムの画像を示す高画質の
デジタル画像データを安価に入手できるようにする。 【構成】フイルムスキャナ１６からデジタルプリンタ１
８に出力されるデジタル画像データを利用し、ユーザー
からのデジタル画像データのサービス要求に応じてＩＣ
メモリカード２４やフロッピーディスク４２等の外部記
憶媒体に該デジタル画像データを書き込み、その外部記
憶媒体をユーザーに返却するサービスを行うようにして
いる。これにより、ユーザーは、ラボの持つ高性能なフ
イルムスキャナ１６によって作成されるデジタル画像デ
ータを安価に入手することができ、そのデジタル画像デ
ータを再生できるプレーヤ３０やパーソナルコンピュー
タ４０等で高画質のフイルム画像を楽しむことができ
る。又、パーソナルコンピュータ等により画像加工され
たデジタル画像データのプリントを安価に、容易に入手
することができる。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明はラボシステムに係り、特
にプレーヤやカメラとの情報の交換が可能なラボシステ
ムに関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来、現像済みスチル写真フイルムをＣ
ＣＤ等のイメージセンサで撮像し、写真フイルムの画像
を画像信号に変換し、これをモニタＴＶに出力してフイ
ルム画像を表示するフイルムプレーヤは、ＷＯ９０／０
４３０１、特開平５−５６３４５号公報等において公知
である。
【０００３】また、カメラに装着されたＩＣカードに撮
影情報やプリント注文情報等を記録することができるデ
ータ記録カメラが提案されている（特開昭６２−２０８
０２８号公報）。このデータ記録カメラによって所定の
情報が記録されたＩＣカードは、これに対応するフイル
ムと一緒にＤＰ取次店を経由してラボ（現像所）に送ら
れ、現像に必要な情報を伝達するようにしている。ま
た、ラボでの処理の内容、プリント枚数などの情報をＩ
Ｃカードに記録することにより、ユーザーに情報を返却
できるようにしている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】ところで、上記フイル
ムプレーヤにおいて、高画質のデジタル画像データを作
成するためには高性能化が要求され、フイルムプレーヤ
が高価となる。又、高画質のデジタル画像データを高品
位にプリントしようとすると、デジタルプリンタが高価
となる。
【０００５】一方、従来のＩＣカードを使用してラボと
ユーザーとの間で交換される情報はラボ用情報に止ま
る。本発明はこのような事情に鑑みてなされたもので、
ユーザーが高画質のデジタル画像データを安価に入手す
ることができ、又、パソコン等で画像加工した画像デー
タを安価にプリントできるラボシステムを提供すること
を目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は前記目的を達成
するために、前処理部と、スチル写真フイルムを現像す
る現像機と、前記現像機で現像され又は既に現像された
フイルムの画像を撮像してデジタル画像データに変換す
る画像読取手段と、前記画像読取手段からのデジタル画
像データに基づいてフイルム画像をプリントするデジタ
ルプリンタと、外部記憶媒体へのデータの書き込みを行
う書込手段と、外部記憶媒体からのデータの読取りを行
う読取手段と、を備え、前記前処理部は、デジタル画像
データのサービス要求があると、前記画像読取手段から
出力されるデジタル画像データを前記書込手段を介して
前記外部記憶媒体に書き込ませデジタル画像データのデ
ジタルプリントのサービス要求があると、前記画像読取
手段から出力されるデジタル画像データを前記デジタル
プリンタで出力することを特徴としている。

【作用】本発明によれば、画像読取手段からデジタルプ
リンタに出力されるデジタル画像データを利用し、ユー
ザーからのデジタル画像データのサービス要求に応じて
ＩＣメモリカードやフロッピディスク等の外部記憶媒体
に該デジタル画像データを書き込み、その外部記憶媒体
をユーザーに返却するサービスを行うようにしている。
これにより、ユーザーは、ラボの持つ高性能な画像読取
手段によって作成されるデジタル画像データを安価に入
手することができ、そのデジタル画像データを再生でき
るプレーヤやパーソナルコンピュータ等で高画質のフイ
ルム画像を楽しむことができる。又、パーソナルコンピ
ュータ等で画像加工したデジタル画像データを安価、容
易に入手することができる。

【実施例】以下添付図面に従って本発明に係るラボシス
テムの好ましい実施例を詳説する。図１は本発明に係る
ラボシステムを中心としたフイルムカートリッジ及びＩ
Ｃメモリカードの流れを示す説明図である。
【０００９】同図において、１０はラボシステム、２０
はカメラ、３０はプレーヤ、４０はパーソナルコンピュ
ータである。カメラ２０は、フイルムカートリッジ２２
とともにＩＣメモリカード２４が装填できるようになっ
ており、撮影時にフイルムカートリッジ２４内のフイル
ムに被写体像を写し込むとともに、撮影時の情報（色温
度情報、露出情報、露出の過不足情報、撮影日時、プリ
ントサイズ等の情報）や注文情報（プリント枚数、トリ
ミング、ズーミング、文字等の情報）をＩＣメモリカー
ド２４に記録することができる（フローライン(1) ）。
尚、上記注文情報は、後述するようにプレーヤ３０によ
っても記録することができる。
【００１０】撮影終了後、上記フイルムカートリッジ２
２とＩＣメモリカード２４は、ＤＰ取次店の店頭受け付
けに渡される（フローライン(2) ）。受け付けでは、所
定の受付処理後、フイルムカートリッジ２２とＩＣメモ
リカード２４をラボシステム１０に渡す（フローライン
(3) ）。ラボシステム１０は、前処理部１２、現像機１
４、フイルムスキャナ１６及びデジタルプリンタ１８か
ら構成されている。前処理部１２は、ＩＣメモリカード
２４に記憶された各種の情報を読み取る読取部を有し、
読み取った情報に応じてフイルムカートリッジ２２の仕
分け（同時プリント、現像のみ、焼増等の仕分け）を行
うとともに、現像に必要な情報（色温度情報、露出情
報、露出の過不足情報）を現像機１４に出力する（フロ
ーライン(4) ）。
【００１１】現像機１４は、前処理部１２から入力する
現像情報に沿ってフイルムカートリッジ２２内のフイル
ムを自動的に現像し、現像済みのフイルムはフイルムス
キャナ１６に送られる（フローライン(5) ）。フイルム
スキャナ１６はフイルムの画像を撮像してデジタル画像
データに変換し、そのデジタル画像データを次段のデジ
タルプリンタ１８に出力し（フローライン(6) ）、デジ
タルプリンタ１８は入力するデジタル画像データに基づ
いてフイルム画像のプリントを行う。尚、フイルムスキ
ャナ１６及びデジタルプリンタ１８は、前処理部４が読
み取った注文情報に沿って制御される。
【００１２】デジタルプリンタ１８によってプリントさ
れた写真は、店頭受け付けを経由してユーザーに渡され
る（フローライン(7) ）。尚、写真と同時に、フイルム
カートリッジ２２及びＩＣメモリカード２４も返却され
る。さて、このラボシステム１０は、更にＩＣメモリカ
ード２４に必要なデジタル画像データを記録するサービ
スを提供することができるようになっている。サービス
としては、フイルム１本分の全コマのインデックス画面
を示すデジタル画像データと、指定コマのフル画面を示
すデジタル画像データとが考えれる。
【００１３】ラボシステム１０では、注文情報内に上記
サービス要求がある場合には、フイルムスキャナ１６に
よって生成されるデジタル画像データのＩＣメモリカー
ド２４への書き込みが行われる。即ち、フイルムスキャ
ナ１６はＩＣメモリカード２４へのデジタル画像データ
の書き込みを行うデータ記録部を有し、デジタル画像デ
ータのサービス要求があると、前処理部１２はフイルム
スキャナ１６にデジタル画像データのＩＣメモリカード
２４への書き込みを行わせる。そして、デジタル画像デ
ータが書き込まれたＩＣメモリカード２４は、店頭受け
付けを経由してユーザーに渡される（フローライン(8)
）。
【００１４】プレーヤ３０はＩＣメモリカード２４から
デジタル画像データを受入することができ（フローライ
ン(9) ）、また必要なデータをＩＣメモリカード２４に
記録することができるもので、ＩＣメモリカード２４か
ら入力したデジタル画像データに基づいてモニタＴＶ３
２に画像を表示させることができる。即ち、ユーザー
は、ラボシステム１０から渡されたＩＣメモリカード２
４に記録されたデジタル画像データをモニタＴＶ３２に
再生し、画像を楽しむことができる。
【００１５】また、このプレーヤ３０は、モニタＴＶ３
２にインデックス画面を表示させ、そのインデックス画
面を見ながら注文コマ、プリント枚数、サイズ等を指定
することにより、注文情報をＩＣメモリカード２４に記
録することができる。従って、焼き増し注文を行う場合
には、フイルムカートリッジ２２とＩＣメモリカード２
４を受け付けに持って行けばよい（フローライン(1
0)）。
【００１６】一方、ＩＣメモリカード２４の代わりに、
パーソナルコンピュータ４０用のフロッピーディスク４
２にデジタル画像データを記録することもできる。この
場合、デジタル画像データは、ユーザー指定のパーソナ
ルコンピュータ４０のフォーマットで書き込まれる。こ
のサービスを受けると（フローライン(11)）、ユーザー
はパーソナルコンピュータ４０でデジタル画像データを
再生することができ、また画像編集等も行うことができ
る。更に、パーソナルコンピュータ４０で画像編集した
デジタル画像データをフロッピーディスク４２に書き込
み、このフロッピーディスク４２を受け付けに持って行
き（フローライン(12)）、プリントを依頼することがで
きる。即ち、フロッピーディスク４２に記憶されたデジ
タル画像データのプリント注文があると、前処理部１２
は、フロッピーディスク４２に記憶されたデジタル画像
データに基づくプリントをデジタルプリンタ１８に行わ
せることができる。
【００１７】以上のサービスは、ラボシステム１０の持
つ高性能なフイルムスキャナ１６を利用するもので、ユ
ーザーは安価で高画質なデジタル画像データを投資なし
で得られる。また、ＷＯ９０／０４３０１には、磁気記
録層を有する写真フイルムを使用したカメラ及びフイル
ムプレーヤが開示されており、各コマに対応する磁気記
録層に、そのコマに関する種々の情報が記録できるよう
になっている。従って、このフイルムを使用すれば、Ｉ
Ｃメモリカード２４の代わりにフイルムよって撮影時の
情報や注文情報をコマ毎にラボシステム１０に伝達する
ことができる。
【００１８】更に、上記フイルムを使用することによ
り、現像機１４において、現像時の露光条件をフイルム
の磁気記録層に磁気記録することができる。そして、プ
リント時にこの露光条件を読み取ってプリンタの初期条
件に使用することにより、プリントの高速化が可能とな
る。また、焼き増し時においても磁気情報を用いること
により、プリントの高速化が可能となる。
【００１９】更にまた、プレーヤ３０の内部の記憶媒体
（例えば、フラッシュメモリ）にフイルムの磁気記録層
に記録した注文情報を保存し、新たな注文情報をフイル
ムの磁気記録層に書き込むことにより新たな注文が可能
となり、且つ前の注文情報もプレーヤ３０に保存されて
いることにより、例えば前の注文した内容や、トリミン
グ情報、ズーミング情報、文字情報等の参照あるいは再
度の注文等にも使用できる。

【発明の効果】以上説明したように本発明に係るラボシ
ステムによれば、ラボシステムの高性能な画像読取手段
からデジタルプリンタに出力されるデジタル画像データ
を利用し、ユーザーからのデジタル画像データのサービ
ス要求に応じて外部記憶媒体に該デジタル画像データを
書き込むサービスを行うことができ、これによりユーザ
ーは高画質のデジタル画像データを安価に入手すること
ができる。また、ラボの高品位なプリントサービスも安
価に受けられる。

Claims (6)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 前処理部と、 スチル写真フイルムを現像する現像機と、 前記現像機で現像され又は既に現像されたフイルムの画
    像を撮像してデジタル画像データに変換する画像読取手
    段と、 前記画像読取手段からのデジタル画像データに基づいて
    フイルム画像をプリントするデジタルプリンタと、 外部記憶媒体へのデータの書き込みを行う書込手段と、
    を備え、 前記前処理部は、デジタル画像データのサービス要求が
    あると、前記画像読取手段から出力されるデジタル画像
    データを前記書込手段を介して前記外部記憶媒体に書き
    込ませることを特徴とするラボシステム。
  2. 【請求項２】 前記外部記憶媒体には写真フイルムの撮
    影時の情報又は注文情報がコマ毎に記録され、前記前処
    理部は外部記憶媒体から前記情報を読み込むと、該情報
    に応じて前記現像機、画像読取手段及びデジタルプリン
    タのうちの少なくとも１つを制御することを特徴とする
    請求項１のラボシステム。
  3. 【請求項３】 前記フイルムは磁気記録層を有するとと
    もに該磁気記録層には写真フイルムの撮影時の情報又は
    注文情報がコマ毎に記録されており、前記前処理部は前
    記磁気記録層から前記情報を読み込むと、該情報に応じ
    て前記現像機、画像読取手段及びデジタルプリンタのう
    ちの少なくとも１つを制御することを特徴とする請求項
    １のラボシステム。
  4. 【請求項４】 前記外部記憶媒体はパソコン用外部記憶
    媒体であり、前記前処理部は、デジタル画像データのサ
    ービス要求があると、前記画像読取手段から出力される
    デジタル画像データを前記書込手段を介して前記パソコ
    ン用外部記憶媒体に指定のフォーマットで書き込むこと
    を特徴とする請求項１のラボシステム。
  5. 【請求項５】 外部記憶媒体からのデジタル画像データ
    の読取りを行う読取手段を備え、前記パソコン用外部記
    憶媒体に記憶されたデジタル画像データのプリント注文
    があると、前記前処理部は、前記パソコン用外部記憶媒
    体に記憶されたデジタル画像データに基づくプリントを
    前記デジタルプリンタに行わせることを特徴とする請求
    項４のラボシステム。
  6. 【請求項６】 前記フイルムは磁気記録層を有し、現像
    時の露光条件を前記磁気記録層に記録し、再プリント時
    には前記磁気記録層に記録された露光条件を初期条件と
    して用いることを特徴とする請求項１のラボシステム。
