Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野) 本願発明は合成繊維などの熱可塑性繊維からな
る、或いはこれらを含む織物や不織物などの布地
にプリーツ加工を施したプリーツ布地及びその製
造方法に関する。
(従来の技術) 例えば女性用ブラウス等の正面胸部に縫着して
装飾する布地は、プリーツ加工を施した上に装飾
性を高めることを目的としてこのプリーツ布地端
部が曲線的に弧を描いたり、曲面状に波打つたり
するように形成されている。
そしてこれらプリーツ布地端部が、曲線的に弧
を描いたり曲面状に波打つたりさせるには、布地
端部付近のプリーツラインを消失させる必要があ
り、その為の従来の方法として第9図及び第10
図に示すごとくミシン等を利用し、かがり糸11
にてプリーツ布地1の端部をかがつていた。
(発明が解決すべき問題点) ところがこの方法ではプリーツ布地端部をかが
るために、ミシンなど別の機械類を使用せざるを
得ず、その工程数が増えるなど不便であり、且つ
余分なかがり糸なども必要となつて美感も損なわ
れ好ましくなかつた。
(問題点を解決するための手段) 上記の問題点を解決するため、本願発明が採つ
た手段は、 (1) プリーツ加工を施した熱可塑性繊維よりなる
布地において、 当該布地の先端縁部を超音波溶融してなるフ
イルム状帯部と、このフイルム状帯部にほぼ平
行する位置でプリーツラインの一部を超音波溶
融して当該一部のプリーツラインを消失させた
フイルム状模様部とを有することを特徴とする
プリーツ布地であり、 (2) 熱可塑性繊維よるなる布地にプリーツ加工を
施し、 次いで、ローラによる超音波溶融により、当
該布地の先端縁部にフイルム状帯部を形成して
溶断及び解れ止めを行なうと同時に、前記フイ
ルム状帯部にほぼ平行する位置でプリーツライ
の一部上にフイルム状模様部を形成して当該一
部のプリーツラインを消失させることを特徴と
するプリーツ布地の製造方法である。
(実施例) 以下本発明に係るプリーツ布地及びその加工方
法について添付の図面に従い、その実施例を説明
する。
第1図は本発明に係るプリーツ布地1の一実施
例の部分斜視図である。
本実施例においては、プリーツ布地1は合成繊
維よりなる織布又は不織布などの布地であつて、
衣料類やその他全般的な布製品に応用される熱可
塑性を有する布地である。
そしてプリーツ布地1にはプリーツライン2が
縦方向に所定巾で形成されており、その先端縁部
にはほつれ止めのためのフイルム状帯部3が熱溶
融によつて本実施例では連続的に半円形曲線状に
形成されている。このフイルム状帯部3は本実施
例の半円形の曲線に限らず直線的であつてもよく
所望の製品に合わせて適宜裁断ラインを決定すれ
ばよい。尚、第2図は第1図の実施例の平面図で
あり第3図はそのA−A線における部分拡大図で
ある。
プリーツ布地1にはこのフイルム状帯部3にほ
ぼ平行するようフイルム状模様部4が設けられて
おり、本実施例ではこのフイルム状模様部4は端
部の曲線形状がより自然となるよう、大中小の三
種類の円形のフイルム状模様4a,4b,4cを
三段にプリーツライン2に沿い、縦方向に設けて
いる。
この円形フイルム状模様部4a,4b,4cは
第5図に示すごとくプリーツ布地1を公知の超音
波発生装置5と後述するローラ6との間を通過さ
せることによつて、このプリーツ布地1の先端部
を溶断しながらほつれ止めのためのフイルム状帯
部3を形成し、同時に円形状のフイルム状模様部
4a,4b,4cをフイルム状帯部3に沿つて形
成するものである。
本実施例では大、中、小の径を変えた三段から
成る円形状のフイルム状模様部4a,4b,4c
にて形成されているが、この数は三段に限らずそ
れ以上、又はそれ以下であつてもよい。更にその
形状は円形に限らず例えば星形や花柄など随意で
ある。
但しこの場合フイルム状模様部4が必ずこのプ
リーツライン2にかかるよう、円形状のフイルム
状模様部4a,4b,4cの配置を予じめ決定し
ておく必要がある。即ち円形のフイルム状模様部
4aが例えば一段だけであつて、その円形状のフ
イルム状模様部4aの間にプリーツライン2が入
つた場合、プリーツライン2を消失させるという
本効果が表れず好ましくない。
このようにプリーツ布地1に形成されたこのフ
イルム状模様部4により、当所より形成されたプ
リーツライン2の一部は溶けて消失し、第1図に
示すごとく、プリーツ布地1におけるフイルム状
模様部4を施した縁部の長さ(L)と施されていない
他端部の長さ(M)とを比較すればフイルム状模様部
4を施した縁部がプリーツライン2の溶けた分だ
け長くなり、プリーツ布地1のL側端部が曲線的
に弧を描いたり、曲面状に波打つたりするように
形成されるのである。
次にこのプリーツ布地1の製造方法について説
明すると、当初のプリーツライン2を施したプリ
ーツ布地1を第5図に示すように超音波発生装置
5と回転するローラ6との間を通過させる。ロー
ラには第6図及び第7図に示したごとく本実施例
では放電加工等により形成された波状凸部7や連
続点状凸部8が設けてあり、これらの凸部7,8
が超音波発生装置5と接することにより、プリー
ツ布地1の先端縁部にフイルム状帯部3を形成す
ると同時に、そのプリーツ布地1のプリーツライ
ン2を溶かしフイルム状模様部4を形成してこの
プリーツライン2を消失させるのである。
従つてプリーツ布地1の端部の溶断とほつれ防
止作業と同時にプリーツライン2を消失させるこ
とが同時に行なうことができ、作業工程が単純化
され能率アツプにつながるものである。
このため、各種の形状がプリーツ布地1に形成
することができるよう、ローラ6の凸部7,8の
模様を変えればよい。又、その凸部7,8の厚さ
も適宜変えることによつて更に変化あるプリーツ
布地1を提供することができる。
(発明の効果) 以上説明したごとく本発明に係るプリーツ布地
及びその製造方法においては、ミシンなど別の装
置機械類を使用することなく、又余分なかがり糸
を使用しなくとも縁部をほつれ止めを施しながら
プリーツラインを消失させることができる。従つ
て美感も損なわずプリーツ加工を施した上にプリ
ーツ布地端部が曲線的に弧を描いたり、曲面状に
波打つて装飾性を高めることができるものであ
る。
又その製造方法においては、プリーツ布地の端
部の溶断及びほつれ防止の溶着と共にプリーツラ
ンインの一部を消失させることができ、その作業
工程を減少せしめ能率アツプに貢献することがで
きるという効果を奏する。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 プリーツ加工を施した熱可塑性繊維よりなる
    布地において、 当該布地の先端縁部を超音波溶融してなるフイ
    ルム状帯部と、このフイルム状帯部にほぼ平行す
    る位置でプリーツラインの一部を超音波溶融して
    当該一部のプリーツラインを消失させたフイルム
    状模様部とを有することを特徴とするプリーツ布
    地。 2 熱可塑性繊維よりなる布地にプリーツ加工を
    施し、 次いで、ローラによる超音波溶融により、当該
    布地の先端縁部にフイルム状帯部を形成して溶断
    及び解れ止めを行なうと同時に、前記フイルム状
    帯部にほぼ平行する位置でプリーツラインの一部
    上にフイルム状模様部を形成して当該一部のプリ
    ーツラインを消失させることを特徴とするプリー
    ツ布地の製造方法。
