Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 ［産業上の利用分野］ 本発明は、例えば、通信回線を通して画像データを送受
信できるファクシミリ装置に関するものである。
［従来の技術］ 従来、この種の装置においては、送信側の部数指定機能
を持ったファクシミリ装置からの指示に従って、受信文
書が複数部に渡って出力されていた。
［発明が解決しようとしている課題］ しかしながら、上記実施例では、送信側に部数指定様能
がないと、受信側で複数部の文書を出力できないという
欠点があった。
本発明は上述した従来例の欠点に鑑みてなされたもので
あり、その目的とするところは、送信側からの部数指定
が無くても複数部の文書を出力できるファクシミリ装置
を提供することにある。
［課題を解決するための手段］ 上述した課題を解決し、目的を達成するため、本発明に
係わるファクシミリ装置は、受信された文書を複数部出
力する機能を有したファクシミリ装置であって、送信先
より部数情報を含む文書情報を受信する受信手段と、前
記受信手段で受信された文書情報から前記部数情報を解
析する解析手段と、前記解析手段で解析された部数情報
に基づく部数に従って文書出力を行なう出力手段とを備
えることを特徴とする。
［作用］ かかる構成によれば、受信手段は送信先より部数情報を
含む文書情報を受信し、解析手段は受信手段で受信され
た文書情報から部数情報を解析し、出力手段は解析手段
で解析された部数情報に基づく部数に従って文書出力を
行なう。
［実施例〕 以下に、添付図面を参照して、本発明の好適な実施例を
詳細に説明する。尚、本実施例では１通信の単位の部数
指定を例に挙げて説明する。
〈構成の説明〉 第１図は本発明のファクシミリ装置の一実施例の構成を
示すブロック図である。同図中、１は送信モードやコピ
ーモード等の指定や宛先等を入力するキーを備えた操作
パネルを示し、５は操作パネル１の動作を制御する操作
パネル制御部を示している。２は原稿から画像データを
読み取るり−ダを示し、６はリーダ６の動作を制御する
リーグ制御部を示している。３は受信画像やコピーモー
ドにより読み取った画像に基づいて記録紙に可視像を形
成するＢＰ熱転プリンタ等のプリンタを示し、８はプリ
ンタ３の動作を制御するプリンタ制御部を示している。
４は送信画像或は受信画像を記憶するハードディスク等
の不揮発性メモリを備えた記憶装置を示し、９は記憶装
置４の動作を制御する記憶装置制御部を示している。７
はＯＣＲシートの画像データか否かを後述のバッファメ
モリ１１に蓄えられた画像データ（イメージデータ）か
ら判断するＯＣＲ認識部を示し、１１は画像データ（イ
メージデータ）を−次蓄えるバッファメモリを示し、１
２はイメージデータを圧縮又は伸長する符号化／復号化
部を示している。１３は外部の通信媒体との通信を制御
する通信制御部を示し、１４は後述の回線２０を介して
接続される不図示の網との通信を制御する網制御部（以
下、ｒＮｃｔＪＪと称す）を示し、２０は不図示の網と
本装置とを接続し、通信データを伝送する回線を示して
いる。
また、１０は本装置全体の制御を後述のＲＯＭ１０ａ中
のプログラムに従って行なうＣＰＵを示し、１０ａは後
述の第３図に示されるフローチャートに従ったプログラ
ム等を格納したＲＯＭを示し、１０ｂは各種プログラム
のワークエリアとして使用するＲＡＭを示している。
〈部数指定方法の説明〉 第２図は本実施例で使用するＯＣＲシートの一例を示す
図である。同図において、１００は本実施例で使用する
ＯＣＲシートを示し、１０１はＯＣＲシート１００の用
途を指定する用途指定欄を示し、１０２は出力文書の数
量指定欄を示している０例えば、用途指定欄１０１にコ
ードで“０１”が記入された場合、用途はｒ部数指定１
である。また、部数指定欄１０２に“００１Ｏ″が記入
された場合、部数はＩｒｌＯ部１である。尚、上記ＯＣ
Ｒシート１００は送信側のファクシミリ装置が送信原稿
の先頭に含めて送信するときに使用するものである。
〈動作の説明〉 第３図は本実施例のＣＰＵｌ０による槽数部出力動作を
説明するフローチャートである。
前提として、送信側が、第２図で説明したＯＣＲシート
１００を送信原稿に含め、ＯＣＲシート１００に部数指
定及び部数指定を行っているものとする。
そこで、まず、受信側の本装置に画像データの受信が開
始されると（ステップｓ１）、画像データはページ単位
でバッファ１１に蓄積される（ステップＳ２）。次に、
受信された画像（全体としては、「文書ｊともいう）の
第１ページがＯＣＲシートであるかどうかの判断が行な
われ（ステップＳ３）、その結果、ＯＣＲシートである
と判断されると、ステップＳ４で文字認識が行われる。
この文字認識では、第２図で説明した部数指定欄１０１
の文字が認識され、その認識された数字の並びによるコ
ードが解析される。ステップＳ４の認識結果がｒ部数指
定１　（コードで０１）であるならば、ステップＳ６で
さらに部数指定欄１０２の文字認識が行なわれ、その認
識された文字により構成される数字で示される枚数だけ
受信された文書が出力される。又、ステップＳ３でＯＣ
Ｒシートではないと判断されたならば、ステップＳ７に
おいて通常の出力処理を行って本処理は終了する。同様
に、ステップＳ５で部数指定でないと判断されたならば
、ステップＳ７において通常の出力処理を行って本処理
は終了する。
以上説明したように、本実施例によれば、ＯＣＲシート
の部数情報を読み取って、その情報により出力部数を制
御することで、送信側に部数指定機能がなくても、送信
側で受信側の出力部数を指定できる効果がある。
さて、上記実施例では、１通信単位の部数指定の場合に
ついてのみ説明されたいたが、本発明はこれに限定され
るものではなく、ＯＣＲシートに更に数桁追加して、そ
の追加相にページ番号を書き込み、指定ページのみ複数
部出力する方法を用いても良い。
［発明の効果］ 以上説明したように、本発明によれば、送信側に部数指
定機能がなくても、送信側で受信側の出力部数を指定す
ることができる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）受信された文書を複数部出力する機能を有したフ
    ァクシミリ装置であつて、 送信先より部数情報を含む文書情報を受信する受信手段
    と、 前記受信手段で受信された文書情報から前記部数情報を
    解析する解析手段と、 前記解析手段で解析された部数情報に基づく部数に従つ
    て文書出力を行なう出力手段とを備えることを特徴とす
    るファクシミリ装置。
  2. （２）前記部数情報はＯＣＲシート上に記入される情報
    であり、該ＯＣＲシートの画像情報は前記文書情報に含
    めれることを特徴とする請求項第１項記載のファクシミ
    リ装置。
