Description
片状基質に関する。
い材料物質がいろいろな産業分野で使用されている。例
えば雲母やタルクなどのような小薄片状鉱物質材料がプ
ラスチックのフィラーとして微粉形状で使用されており
、また、金属酸化物で被覆された雲母薄片や小薄片状の
酸化鉄などの薄片状顔料が、例えばラッカー塗料−プラ
スチ・ツク等々の!1色割ンI6で字f−化粧品製剤に
配合され、使用されている。
重畳した状態で凝集体を形成する傾向がいちじるしく、
その接着性が強いので再び個々の基質に剥離することが
難しいことである。
この薄い基質は破砕され易いので、強い剪断力をかけら
れないという点で、さらに極めて重大な問題である。
場合には皮膚に不快な感触を与えるような凝集を防止す
るために、従来、このような基質の表面を化学的にコー
ティングすることが提案されている。しかしながら、こ
のようなコーティングは、特に薄片状の真珠顔料の場合
に、その光学的特性に望ましくない悪影響を与える場合
が多い。しかも、大儀の場合、そのような方法が好結果
をもたらすこともないので、このような基質は乾燥状態
ではなく懸濁状態でのみ提供されることができる。した
がって皮膚に対する感触を良くするために、乾燥状態で
取り扱われる小薄片状基質の凝集を避けるという課題お
よび身分散性の基質を提供するという課題は依然として
存在していた。
粒子とを混合することにより、この懸濁液を乾燥すると
非凝集性で7レキシプルな基質の粉末が得られ、上記の
目的を達成し得ることが見出された。
比較して小さい径を有する球状粒子少なくとも0.5重
量%とを含んでいることを特徴とする非凝集性でかつ易
分散性の高度にソフトな小薄片状基質に関するものであ
る。
フトな小薄片状基質の製造法に関するものであり、この
製造法は小薄片状基質の懸濁液をこの薄片状粒子よりも
小さい径の球状粒子の懸濁液と混合し、そしてその基質
を濾別し、乾燥することを特徴とするものである。
配合物あるいは、化粧品組成物に使用することに関する
ものである。
しい程度まで明らかに阻害しており、かつ、強い接着が
働くことを妨げている。電子顕微鏡写真が示すように、
小薄片状基質の面上に前記の球状粒子が耐着しているの
で、一種のボウルベアリングのようになって、前記基質
の小薄片がお互いに容易に動き得ることになる。
子は前記の小薄片状基質と比較して小さい径を有するも
のでなければならない。

約0.05〜50μ貫の範囲のものが好ましい。特に適
当な球状粒子としては無機材料物質で例えば5iO1,
Ti01およびZr01があげられる。

pherl’ Jの商品名で市販されている。
5〜lμ諺の範囲の粒径をもった物質でも好んで用いら
れる。このような粒子は単分散(+monodispe
rse)の状態ですなわち粒径をできるだけ均一にして
使用することが好ましい。
ノような単分散の球状粒子は知られている。例えば単分
散の5i01はDE−AI−3,616,133の記載
にしたがって製造することができ、これに相当するTi
01やz「0.をベースとする物質もディスバージタン
として市場で入手することができる。
末を皮膚の上でこすった場合のソフトな感覚が改良され
ていることを感じるという極めて簡単な方法で知覚的に
観察することができる。
より、この本質的な改良が十分に達成し得ることが見出
された。実質的な改良は、約0.5重量%の使用により
すでに達成される。
、その結果は顕著に達成される。一般に、重量で約0.
5〜20%、好ましくは約1−10%が使用される。そ
れ以上の量を基質と混合しても何等問題はないが一般に
それ以上のソフト性の改良は達成されない。
本発明により、上記の球状粒子の添加によって、その分
散性とソフト性を改良することができる。一般にこのよ
うな基質は、径、約1〜500μm、特に約5〜200
μ岡、厚さ約0.05〜5μm、特に約0.1−1gm
を有する。特に、列記する材料としては、小薄片状ゼオ
ライト、雲母やタルクのようなもの、ガラス、小薄片状
の酸化鉄、オキシ塩化ビスマス、塩基性炭酸鉛、硫酸バ
リウム、金属酸化物被覆雲母および金属フレークなどが
あげられる。
分散液(ディスバージョン)と球状物・質の分散液(デ
ィスバージョン)とを十分に混合し、次いで混合固形物
を濾別し、場合によっては適当に洗浄した後乾燥する。

分散状態を保っている間に、前記の球状粒子を直接混合
することが好都合であることになる。しかしながらすで
に乾燥した状態で、したがって凝集している基質でも、
例えば分散剤中で強く撹拌し、そして超音波で処理する
ことにより、非常に容易に分散させることができる。
、また、好ましくは、球状粒子の存在の下で行う。上記
の分散剤の性質はそれ自体特に限定されない。溶媒とし
ては、水もしくは水と混合し得る溶剤を用いることが好
ましいが、それは、場合により、前記の球状粒子が分散
剤中に存在している場合、その分散剤にもよる。
子は大低エチレングリコール中に分散されているが、他
のアルコール類例えばグリセロールとかグロパノールも
しくはブタノールなどを使用しても同等の良い効果を得
ることができる。小薄片状基質および球状物質の前記の
ディスバージョンにおける濃度は、本発明の効果を達成
するのにあまり重要ではない、固形分は主に経済性を考
慮して重量で約1〜50%の範囲に調整される。

用いて被覆することもできる。

きる。この基質のソフト性や分散性は、一般に知られて
いる助剤や処理方法によって悪い影響を受けることはな
い。
慣用手段により例えば濾過によって分散液から分離し、
場合によって洗浄し、そして乾燥し、直接使用される。
処理によってその効果が損われることはない。
物、スキンパウダーなど工業用配合品にも化粧品用組成
物にも使用いることができる。

pHを8に保ちながら50分間かけて加える。次いでそ
の混合液を2.5時間撹拌し、その後固形物を枦遇し、

溶解した溶液を5%の苛性ソーダ水溶液を用いてpHを
6.0に保ちながら50分以上かけて計量圧加する。生
成物を濾別し、塩素が検出されなくなるまで水で洗浄し
た後乾燥し900℃で焼成する。乾燥して得られた顔料
および焼成して得られた顔料のいずれも顕著なン7ト性
を有している。

液をさらに15分間撹拌し、生成物を濾別し塩素が検出
されなくなるまで水洗し、乾燥し、800℃で30分間
焼成する。
Claims (7)
- (1)非凝集性でかつ易分散性の高度にソフトな小薄片
状基質であって、その小薄片状基質と比較して小さい径
の球状粒子を重量で少なくとも0.5%含有しているこ
とを特徴とする小薄片状基質。 - (2)前記の球状粒子の直径が0.05〜50μmの範
囲であることを特徴とする請求項(1)に記載の基質。 - (3)前記の球状粒子の粒子サイズの分布が狭いことを
特徴とする請求項(2)に記載の基質。 - (4)前記の基質が粒径0.05〜1.0μmの範囲の
単分散のSiO_2粒子および(または)TiO_2粒
子を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項(1)に記載の
基質。 - (5)小薄片状基質の懸濁液を、その薄片状基質よりも
小さい粒径の球状粒子の懸濁液と混合し、次いでその基
質を濾別し、乾燥し、必要に応じ、焼成することを特徴
とする非凝集性でかつ易分散性の高度にソフトな小薄片
状基質の製造法。 - (6)前記の混合懸濁液を超音波で処理することを特徴
とする請求項(5)に記載の製造法。 - (7)請求項(1)に記載する基質を使用することを特
徴とする工業用配合物もしくは化粧用組成物。
