【発明の詳細な説明】

本発明はファクシミリ、コピー、イメージスキャナー等
に使われるイメージセンサ又はフォトセンサに関するも

以下に本発明の実施例を示す。
実施例1
第3図は積層型素子の場合を示す。同図においてコーニ
ング社の#7059ガラス基板(1)上に公知のスパッ
タリング法を用いて遮光性導電膜としてCr(2)を5
00人成膜した。このCr(2)のかわりにAl1Mo
5TiSCu等の単層金属でも、Cr/A1、Cr/M
o、 Cr/T t、 Cr/Cu/Cr等の多層金属
でも、S iN/Cr、S iO,/Crなどブロッキ

公知のスピンナー法を用いて10μm塗布して、全てレ
ーザのみで形成した完全密着型イメージセンサを形成し
た。受光素子部は斜線部C!Φである。
入射光(8)は光入射窓0■を通って原稿(7)に当り
その反射又は散乱光がI T O(4)を通してアモル
ファスシリコン層(3)に到達し、そこでキャリアが発
生し上面のITO(4)を通して外部出力となる。

レーザ加工によって光入射窓を任意の場所に任意の大き
さで形成できるようになった。また、同時にこのレーザ
加工による窓の断面形状を利用して簡易にひさしのある
イメージセンサにすることができた。このため迷光によ
るセンサーの誤信号を減らすことができた。

Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1、被検知体よりの反射光を電気出力に変換するセンサ
ーにおいて、前記センサーの光電変換領域に近接した部
分にレーザー加工によって光入射窓が設けられ、前記光
入射窓の断面形状は、傾斜部を有しており、前記傾斜部
の一部は、迷光をさえぎるひさしを構成していることを
特徴とするセンサー。 2、特許請求の範囲第1項に記載されたセンサーを用い
て構成されたイメージセンサー。
