Description
Claims (17)
- ガラスドローダウンコーティングシステムであって、
第1側面及び第2側面を有するガラスリボンを形成するために、溶融ガラスが重力により流れ落ちるように構成された放出スロットを備えた容器と、
前記ガラスリボンの前記第1側面に隣接して設けられた、第1のナノ粒子領域を形成するための第1のナノ粒子コーティング装置と、
前記ガラスリボンの前記第1側面に隣接して設けられ、前記第1のナノ粒子コーティング装置の下方に設けられた、第2のナノ粒子領域を形成するための第2のナノ粒子コーティング装置と、
前記ガラスリボンの前記第2側面に隣接して設けられた第3のナノ粒子コーティング装置とを備え、
前記第1のナノ粒子領域と前記第2のナノ粒子領域とは、前記ガラスリボン内に形成される深さが異なり、
前記第1のナノ粒子コーティング装置、前記第2のナノ粒子コーティング装置、又は前記第3のナノ粒子コーティング装置は、
ハウジング、
ナノ粒子放出スロット、および
第1の火炎を点火するように構成された第1の燃焼スロット
を備え、
前記第1の燃焼スロットは前記ナノ粒子放出スロットの上流側に位置し、前記第1の火炎は前記ガラスリボンの表面を加熱して、ナノ粒子が所望の深さまで浸透できるように前記ガラスリボンの表面の粘度を低下させるように構成されており、
前記ナノ粒子放出スロットは、ナノ粒子源およびキャリア流体源に接続され、前記ナノ粒子放出スロットは、前記ナノ粒子が所望の深さまで浸透できるように、キャリア流体の速度を制御するように構成されている、ガラスドローダウンコーティングシステム。 - 前記第1のナノ粒子コーティング装置は、前記ハウジングと、前記ナノ粒子放出スロットと、前記第1の燃焼スロットとを備える、請求項1に記載されたガラスドローダウンコーティングシステム。
- 前記ナノ粒子源は蒸発器を備える、請求項1に記載されたガラスドローダウンコーティングシステム。
- 前記ナノ粒子源は、金属酸化物ナノ粒子を含む、請求項1に記載されたガラスドローダウンコーティングシステム。
- 前記ナノ粒子源は、発光性及び/又は燐光性ナノ粒子を含む、請求項1に記載されたガラスドローダウンコーティングシステム。
- 前記前記ナノ粒子源は、蛍光体を含む、請求項5に記載されたガラスドローダウンコーティングシステム。
- 前記前記ナノ粒子源は、発光性ナノ結晶ナノ粒子を含む、請求項5に記載されたガラスドローダウンコーティングシステム。
- 前記第1の燃焼スロットは、燃料源及び酸化剤源に接続される、請求項1に記載されたガラスドローダウンコーティングシステム。
- 前記燃料源は天然ガスを含む、請求項8に記載されたガラスドローダウンコーティングシステム。
- 前記酸化剤源は酸素を含む、請求項8に記載されたガラスドローダウンコーティングシステム。
- 前記第1のナノ粒子コーティング装置、前記第2のナノ粒子コーティング装置、又は前記第3のナノ粒子コーティング装置は、第2の燃焼スロットを更に備え、該第2の燃焼スロットは前記第1の燃焼スロットと同じナノ粒子コーティング装置に設けられ、前記ナノ粒子放出スロットは、前記第1の燃焼スロットと前記第2の燃焼スロットとの間に配置される、請求項1に記載されたガラスドローダウンコーティングシステム。
- 前記第1のナノ粒子コーティング装置が第1のナノ粒子源に接続され、前記第2のナノ粒子コーティング装置が第2のナノ粒子源に接続される、請求項1に記載されたガラスドローダウンコーティングシステム。
- 前記第1のナノ粒子源は、前記第2のナノ粒子源とは異なる、請求項12に記載されたガラスドローダウンコーティングシステム。
- 前記ガラスリボンの第2側面に隣接して設けられた第4のナノ粒子コーティング装置を備える、請求項1に記載されたガラスドローダウンコーティングシステム。
- 前記第3のナノ粒子コーティング装置が第3のナノ粒子源に接続され、前記第4のナノ粒子コーティング装置が第4のナノ粒子源に接続される、請求項14に記載されたガラスドローダウンコーティングシステム。
- 前記第3のナノ粒子源は、前記第4のナノ粒子源とは異なる、請求項15に記載されたガラスドローダウンコーティングシステム。
- 前記第1のナノ粒子コーティング装置、前記第2のナノ粒子コーティング装置、又は前記第3のナノ粒子コーティング装置は、第2の火炎を点火するように構成された第2の燃焼スロットをさらに備え、該第2の燃焼スロットは前記第1の燃焼スロットと同じナノ粒子コーティング装置に設けられ、
前記第2の燃焼スロットは前記ナノ粒子放出スロットの下流側に位置し、前記第2の火炎は前記ガラスリボンの表面を平滑にすることを助けるように構成される、請求項1に記載されたガラスドローダウンコーティングシステム。
